Due to ongoing Travel improvement along the Victoria Street corridor, buses will have to divert from a northbound direction (toward Bristol  Bridge) to use Temple Way and Narrow Plain through to Counterslip then rejoin Victoria Street to resume at Bristol Bridge.

This will not effect traffic heading towards Temple Meads.

Passengers are reminded to use the Temple meads stop on Temple Way instead of the Temple meads stop on Victoria Street during the closure period.

Due to emergency works from Wales and West utilities, Batheaston has been closed  as a result of works at London Road East near the junction of Morris Lane.

Passengers are advised that there will be 2 temporary stops located near the London Road Roundabout for anyone needed to alight to access Batheaston.

Regrettably Bailbrook House, Clarence Gardens, Bailbrook Lane, Vale View Terrace, Stambridge and Morris Lane bus stops will not be served during the closure period.

Coronation Road in Bedminster will be closed to service 24 heading towards Ashton only for manhole repair works.

Service 24 will be diverted via Bedminster Parade, Dalby Avenue, Sheene Road and Cannon Street to resume normal route at North Street.

Due to National Grid works, Wyndham Way will be closed towards the Harbour area only to facilitate sub station works and as such service X4 will have to divert to use Wyndham Way South-East direction to pick up route at the Harbour Road Roundabout to head into Sainsbury's.

Service X4 from the harbour can access Wyndham Way so will be unaffected.

Bristol Bus Station Part Closure: Bays 15-19 (39/X39, 172/349/374/375/376/376a/522) (T7)

Electrical works are currently taking place at Bristol Bus and Coach Station as part of our project that is bringing 98 new zero-emission electric buses to our region. The works are installing the infrastructure for charging the electric buses that use the station, and there will be some temporary changes to stopping arrangements for some services whilst the work takes place.

Bays 15 to 19 will be closed from first bus on Wednesday 26th March until the work is completed, which is expected to be at the end of Friday 4th April. As a result, the following services will temporarily be using stops outside of the bus station: -

Service 17 will terminate from Kingswood on The Haymarket (stop B8 or B10) and depart for Kingswood from The Haymarket stop B7 (its usual second stop).

Services 39/X39, 172, 349, 374, 375, 376, 376a and 522 will use The Horsefair stops S3 and S5 opposite the Poundland store in Broadmead (near McDonalds). Passengers can also use the Wine Street stop as usual to board services heading toward Temple Meads.

TrawsCymru service T7 (operated by Newport Bus) will drop off passengers on Bond Street stop S1 and then turn around to pick up at stop S4 that is located in Front of Fabric Land store.

Services A1 (Airport Flyer), X1, X4, X6, X7, X8 and X9 and National Express and FlixBus coach services will not be affected.

We apologise for the disruption these changes will cause and thank our customers for their understanding while these important works are carried out.

We will update this page during the closure period to confirm the completion date as the work progresses.

Overnight Road Closure-The interchange Weston Super Mare-(A3/X1/W7)

Due to ongoing improvement works to the bus interchange at Weston, services will divert overnight to facilitate road widening works.

Buses will not be able to use the interchange and as such will divert Francis Fox Road, Station Road and Carlton Street for the sea front with the A3 service using Francis Fox Road to the train station to terminate and resume.

Regrettably the Interchange stops will not be served during the overnight closure period and passengers are advised there will be new temp stop sited on Station Road behind Tesco's for any intending passengers needed the services.

Due to Bridge Works Cumberland Basin will be closed to northbound traffic nightly from 19:00-06:00 with services diverting to use Coronation Road, Redcliffe and Broad Quay.

Due to additional works on Merchants Road this will mean there will be no  North Somerset services through Hotwells on Monday 24th and Tuesday 25th of March, passengers are advised to plan trips accordingly during the closure periods.

Regrettably The Centre, Anchor Road, Gas Ferry Road, Hotwells Road, Merchants Road, College Green(U2), Park St Top(U2), Jacobs Wells Road(U2) bus stops will not be served during the closure period.

Overnight Road Closure-A4174 Ring Road (Westbound)-m3

Due to overnight works the Westbound carriageway of the Ring Road at Bromley Heath will be closed to traffic and as such buses will be diverted from the Willy Wicket to use Badminton Road to Downend, Manor Road at Fishponds then Frenchay Park Road to Stoke Lane Begbrook interchange for M32. This is towards centre only

Passengers are advised that this diversion will add some time to inbound journeys and as such cause some disruption to late night trips on the m3 service.

Passengers are also advised that no stops will be served on the diversion route and any passengers wishing to travel to UWE Frenchay Campus should connect at the Begbrook interchange for onward journeys.

The service 19 is unaffected due to terminating at Downend during the closure period.

Regrettably Hambrook, UWE The Gardens, Frenchay Campus and Stoke Park bus stops toward the Centre, will not be served during the closure period.
