The railway bridge at The Malago (St John's Lane, Bedminster) will be closed at the following times, affecting service 90:

Sunday 16th April – between 9am and 4pm.

Service 90 coming from the City Centre will divert from the end of Malago Road via Sheene Road,  West Street, Parson Street (the same as the 75/76) and then after passing over the railway at Parson Street Station will turn left onto Bedminster Road, re-joining normal 90 route at the roundabout with St John’s Lane.

Service 90 towards the City Centre will divert from the roundabout on St John’s Lane via Bedminster Road, ahead at the traffic lights onto the Parson Street one way system, bear right at the top the hill and then via Bedminster Down Road and West Street to return to normal route (the same as 75).

Buses will observe all stops along the diversion.

The pair of stops named 'The Malago' on St John's Lane will not be able to be served during the closures. The nearest alternative stops will be the 'Littleton Road' stops on St John's Lane which will be served normally. Some delays are expected due to the length of the diversion.

****THEN****

Sunday 16th April from 4pm until 6.30am the following morning, and then further overnight closures each night between 10pm and 6.30am the following morning on 17th, 18th, 19th, 20th, 21st and 22nd April.

As well as The Malago railway bridge being closed, Sheene Road outside LIDL will also be closed. 

All buses coming from Redcliff Hill out of the City Centre towards Hengrove or the Airport (75, 76, 90, m1, A1) will divert from Bedminster Bridge Roundabout via Coronation Road, St John's Road, Catherine Mead Street past the back of ASDA, Dean Lane, Cannon Street onto West Street including the 90. All services will rejoin normal route at West Street except the 90, which will divert as per above past Parson Street Station to rejoin normal route at St John's Lane.

The Bedminster Parade and Dalby Avenue stops will not be able to be served in this direction. Buses will serve all bus stops along the diversion.

All buses heading to the City Centre will be able to use East Street along their normal route so will be unaffected. However, the 90 will divert as per above from St John's Lane and via Bedminster Road, Parson Street gyratory and West Street to East Street.
