Re-open - St Mary's Grove / Hannah More Road, Nailsea.

St Mary's Grove / Hannah More Road have now re-opened, and as of 15th November 2024, service X9 has resumed normal route in Nailsea.

Road Closure-Portbury Hundred-(X4)

Due to carriageway works the Portbury Hundred will be closed nightly and service X4 will have to divert via junction 20 for Clevedon to use Walton Road and Clevedon Road to resume at Wyndham Way, this will be in both directions.

Given the length and time of this diversion passengers are advised there will be disruption to service X4 during the closures and should plan accordingly for this.

Road Closure-Filton road A4174-(M1/M3/M4/T1/19

Filton road will be closed to traffic nightly this weekend and as such later services will be diverted.

Service M1/19/M4 that use the Harry stoke bypass will divert from Coldharbour Lane to use Abbeywood, Brierly Furlong and into Parkway with the M1 continuing along Hatchet Lane to Great Stoke Way roundabout for normal route.

Service M3 will divert from Hambrook to use Frenchay Park Road, Stoke Lane, and into UWE via the reverse direction-Passengers are advised to check the destination on the bus when boarding Either side at Stoke Lane bus stops.

Service T1 will divert from Great stoke Way to Old Gloucester Road to Hambrook and resume on the M32 in both directions.

Regrettably Great Stoke, Parkway North P+R, Hunts Ground Road, Hambrook Lane, Harry Stoke and Uwe the Gardens will not served during the closure.

Air Balloon Road will be closed to all traffic near the junction of Troopers Hill to facilitate carriageway works.

Service 44/45 will divert during the closure to use Clouds Hill Road, Bell Hill Road and the Kingsway in Both directions.

Drivers will be advised to stop on the Kingsway for any intending passengers.

Due to the location of the market the service 6/6a and 7 will be using Wallcot Street turning at Grand Parade and the service 31 will divert to George Street and turn at Queens Square.

Filton Avenue will be closed at the junction of Station Road (A4174) for the weekend of the 23rd November.

Sadly there will be no access to and from Filton Avenue and a diversion to use Wessex Avenue, Filton Road and Station Road in both directions will be in place.

We expect the roads to be fairly busy due to other roadworks in the area so advice to plan accordingly should be heeded.

As part of the ongoing works undertaking for the East Bristol Living Neighbourhood project, Avonvale road will be closed to buses during the time stated above.

There will be a diversion in place via Lawrence Hill, Whitehall Road, Blackswarth Road and passengers can alight and disembark at the Lawrence Hill, Croydon Street Bus stops whilst the service is on diversion.

Regrettably Church St, Beam St, Orchard Street and Terrell Gardens stops will not be served during the closure, with the bus joining back on route at Netham Road bus stop toward St Annes. 

The reverse of this diversion will be in place.

Passengers are advised there will be a diversion from the Crown to use Old Gloucester Road, Beacon Lane to resume at the top of Winterbourne, George and Dragon- This will be in Both Directions during the closures.

Please also Note there will be Temporary Stops located either side of Old Gloucester Road near the junction of Hambrook Road.
