Air Balloon Road will be closed to all traffic near the junction of Troopers Hill to facilitate carriageway works.

Service 44/45 will divert during the closure to use Clouds Hill Road, Bell Hill Road and the Kingsway in Both directions.

Drivers will be advised to stop on the Kingsway for any intending passengers.

Regrettably The Avenue, Marling Road, Troopers Hill Road and Harcourt Avenue will not be served during the closure.

Road Closure-St Augustines Parade (Northbound)-Bristol City Centre

Due to unexpected roadworks at St Augustines Parade in the City Centre the services stated above are diverted away from the road closure.

The timeframe for these works are ongoing and as such this diversion is expected to be in place until 5pm Friday 15th Novemebr, howeverthis could be lifted sooner if the works are completed quicker than expected.

Services that usually use St Augustines Parade will be diverted from the Hippodrome stop (C1) to use Baldwin St to its end then Left up to Wine St, Left into Union St for service 1/2/5/41 to pick up normal route from the Horsfair.

Other services that use Rupert St and Lewins Mead 77/U2/Y6/X1/X4/X6/X7/X8/X9 will divert as above via Baldwin St, Wine St, Union St then use Rupert St(southbound) Right into St Johns Bridge to pick up Lewins Mead to the Bus Station and beefeater stops.

Southbound services are unaffected by the closure but as there is a lane closure in place traffic is unusually busy during the works are being carried out northbound.

It is also noted that all other services using Broad Quay (Church road/Gloucester Road and Metro Services) are running normal route but given the congestion heading Southbound on the centre these services will be impacted through out the day.

This closure will impact timings on all services using the central area and as such some may be cancelled at short notice so please plan accordingly if you have flights, trains or appointments today.

Regrettably Service 5 will not stop on Nelson St (B5) stop but passengers are advised to use (B15) The Horsfair.

Airport road and Hengrove Way will be closed to overnight works and as such services M1 and 74 will be diverted. 

M1 will turn at Novers Lane roundabout missing out Inns Court, Creswicke Road and Bamfield and follow Hartcliffe way to Whitchurch Lane into South Bristol Hospital.

Service 74 will divert from Throgmorton to use Creswicke road (Westbound) to inns Court, Novers Lane Hartcliffe way and into Hengrove via the bottom end of Hengrove Way.

Regrettably for service M1- Paddock Gardens,Thurlstone,Alverstoke, Filwood Broadway and inns court bus stops will not be served.

For service 74-Hengrove Way southbound will not be served during the closure.

Due to the annual Christmas Market taking place in the centre of Bath this year various roads will be closed to traffic and buses will be diverted.

Due to the location of the market the service 6/6a and 7 will be using Wallcot Street turning at Grand Parade and the service 31 will divert to George Street and turn at Queens Square.

Road Closure-Filton Avenue-(70/74)

Filton Avenue will be closed at the junction of Station Road (A4174) for the weekend of the 23rd November.

Sadly there will be no access to and from Filton Avenue and a diversion to use Wessex Avenue, Filton Road and Station Road in both directions will be in place.

We expect the roads to be fairly busy due to other roadworks in the area so advice to plan accordingly should be heeded.

As part of the ongoing works undertaking for the East Bristol Living Neighbourhood project, Avonvale road will be closed to buses during the time stated above.

There will be a diversion in place via Lawrence Hill, Whitehall Road, Blackswarth Road and passengers can alight and disembark at the Lawrence Hill, Croydon Street Bus stops whilst the service is on diversion.

Regrettably Church St, Beam St, Orchard Street and Terrell Gardens stops will not be served during the closure, with the bus joining back on route at Netham Road bus stop toward St Annes. 

The reverse of this diversion will be in place.

Due to overnight carriageway works program Bristol Road will be closed nightly for a few weeks from November end until mid December.

Passengers are advised there will be a diversion from the Crown to use Old Gloucester Road, Beacon Lane to resume at the top of Winterbourne, George and Dragon- This will be in Both Directions during the closures.

Please also Note there will be Temporary Stops located either side of Old Gloucester Road near the junction of Hambrook Road.
