Due to flooding, we have disruption on the network.
Bath - Bathford - Bradford-on-Avon - Trowbridge area:
Due to flooding on various parts of the route, services D1 and D1x are significantly disrupted.
Service D1 is currently diverting from Bath Bus Station and operating directly to Trowbridge Railway Station via Midford and the A361, before running the normal line of route towards Warminster. Buses from Warminster towards Bath are operating their normal route as far as Trowbridge, Trinity Church and then diverting non-stop to Bath via the A361 and Midford. Buses on the D1 cannot serve Bathampton, Limpley Stoke, Winsley, Bradford on Avon or Trowle Common.
Buses are running to the timetable, with delays.
Please note: the only stop being served in Bath City Centre is Bath Bus Station.
Service D1x is currently operating a shuttle service from Bath Bus Station via the London Road, A4, Box village, Bathford and normal route via Sally in the Wood to Bradford on Avon Christchurch (top of town). The bus will then go down New Road to the roundabout and back up the hill, then to Winsley and back to cover the D1 route, then return to Bath. This is a shuttle service running approximately hourly, and is not running to the usual times.
Service 3 is unable to serve Bathford due to flooding at Bathford Bridge. Buses are terminating on London Road at the Morris Lane stop at present, using the roundabout to turn around. The D1x shuttle is passing through Bathford along Bathford Hill and the High Street.
Bath - Kelston area:
Service 19 is affected by flooding of the A341 road through Kelston. Buses are following the usual diversion:
From Bath to Bristol Parkway: after Windsor Villas stop via Newbridge Road, Twerton Fork, The Globe, Saltford, Keynsham, Willsbridge, Kenilworth Drive and Cherry Garden Lane to resume normal route from the The Beeches stop.
From Bristol Parkway to Bath: after the The Beeches stop, via Cherry Garden Lane, Kenilworth Drive, Willsbridge, Keynsham, Saltford, The Globe and Newbridge Road to resume normal route from The Weston.
All stops between Cherry Garden Lane to Chelsea Road (towards Bath)/The Weston (towards Bristol Parkway) inclusive, through Bitton, Swineford and Kelston, cannot be served.
Buses will be delayed by the length of the diversion.
Service OS1 is also affected and will follow the same diversion between Newbridge and Willsbridge, but will additionally serve Oldfield School.
Ilchester - Yeovil area:
Service 376 - updated - roads between Ilchester and Yeovil are currently impassible. Following an earlier RTC, the A303 is now clear and so service 376 will now resume to and from Yeovil, diverting from Ilchester via the A303, Cartgate Roundabout and the A3088.
Please note: Buses of Somerset service 54 (Taunton - Somerton - Ilchester - Yeovil) is currently suspended in full due to flooding and fallen trees.
Ruishton - Taunton area:
Service 374 is unable to serve Ruishton.
Buses towards Taunton will operate normal route as far as the Arundells Way stop in Creech St Michael, then divert back up North End and via Walford Cross, Creech Castle and the M5 junction to resume normal route from the Ilminster Road Busway stop.
Buses towards Bristol will operate the same diversion in reverse.
Delays are expected along the route due to this and other weather-related network delays.
