Our Foodie Safari Adventure 🌍

We were lucky enough to get a sneak peek at what's on offer at Aberdeen Restaurant Weeks on our Foodie Safari. With over 50 participating restaurants, we set out on a tasty journey to sample the exclusive menus at three standout spots: Amarone, Cafe Andaluz and 8848.

First, we indulged in Italian delights at Amarone. Their menu is packed with rich, authentic flavors that transport you straight to Italy. They are serving up delicious deals for breakfast, lunch and dinner from creamy pasta dishes to classic tiramisu, it was a true taste of la dolce vita. 🍝

Next up, we travelled to Café Andaluz for a Spanish fiesta. Their tapas menu offered a vibrant mix of dishes, from sizzling prawns to flavorful paella. With breakfast, lunch and dinner deals on offer, it's perfecto for catching up with friends over sangria and date night. 🍤

Finally, we ended our safari with a taste of India and Nepal at 8848. Their exclusive menu featured aromatic spices and traditional dishes, from fragrant curries to freshly baked naan. Are you aged under 22?

Don't miss out on free bus travel! 5–21-year-olds living in Scotland are entitled to free bus travel, as part of a scheme led by the Scottish Government. It’s important that you apply for your new NEC Card in order to access the travel scheme, as older Young Scot Cards will not be accepted, and you will be required to pay your fare as normal.

From Midstocket Road:
• continue past Harcourt Road (temporary stop will be served)
• right onto Raeden Park Road
• continue onto Foresterhill Road and resume normal route

Service 23 heading to Sheddocksley
From Midstocket Road:
• continue past Harcourt Road (temporary stop will be served)
• right onto Raeden Park Road
• left into Westburn Road
• continue normal route

A temporary stop opposite Harcourt Road on Midstocket Road beside the shop will be served.

Upcoming Service Changes from Sunday 18th August 2024

We have made changes to our network to further support and improve connections across Aberdeen.

Minor timetable adjustments and route amends have been made to services below.

3/3A/3B/3S	Revised timetable will be in operation. Service 3A route starting 07:54 Altens Farm Road to Cove will replace Stagecoach service 21A: After departing Wellington Road (Altens Farm Road) it continues normal service 3A route to Cove then departs 08:06 to Mastrick via Cove Road, Charleston Dr, Charleston Road, Charleston Road North, Wellington Road and Lochside Academy. There is also a regular service 3 departing Cove 08:06 dropping school pupils off on Wellington Rd. This will no longer go to Lochside Academy.
11/11A	Revised timetable will be in operation. Service 11 route will extend from Woodend to Countesswells via Stagecoach old service 4 route which has been withdrawn. Service 11 will not use Woodend terminus to and from Countesswells. Woodend terminus will only be used when terminating or starting there.
12	Revised timetables will be in operation.
13	Revised timetables will be in operation. Revised journey time across the whole day. Service 13 Sunday to Saturday evenings remains every 30 minutes from Hillhead Of Seaton but hourly between Queens Cross and Scatterburn.
15/15B/15S	Revised timetables will be in operation. Daytime service reduced frequency from every 30 minutes to every 40 minutes. Service 15/15B will no longer serve Cults and Countesswells with service now terminating at Airyhall (Countesswells Close). Countesswells now served by service 11 via Queens Road. Service 15S minor change to journey time.
17/17A/17S/172	Revised timetables will be in operation. All service now terminate at Newhills with revised journey times across the whole day. Service 18/18A/18B/18S now serves full length of Bankhead Road at the foot of Bankhead Avenue for passengers wishing to alight at Dyce.
18/18A/18S and NEW 18B	Revised timetables will be in operation. Service 18/18A/18B/18S now serves full length of Bankhead Road, Stoneywood Road and A947 to and from Beech Manor in both directions. Mugiemoss housing scheme will now have an evening and Sunday service, NEW service 18B, which will follow service 18 but terminate at Guild Street. Service 18B will be the only service to use Guild Street bus stops.
19/19S	Revised timetables will be in operation.
New Service 22A	Replaces one of the two Service 22A school buses which have been withdrawn by Stagecoach. Service 22A will now start and finish at Victoria bridge serving the full length of Victoria Road.
New Service 22C	Replaces one of the two Service 22C school buses which have been withdrawn by Stagecoach.
23	Revised timetables will be in operation. Service 23 now starts and terminates on Lewis Road at Colonsay Crescent to make it easier for passengers to understand which buses terminate at Skye Road or continue to town.
32/32A/32B	32: Revised journey times. 32A: departs Dubford at 07:57 not 08:00 32B: No change.

The next phase of work that takes place on Links Road/Beach Boulevard will be from 14 August until further notice.

• 3rd exit at the Beach Ballroom roundabout and continue normal route to Footdee
• continue along York Street
• left onto York Place
• right onto Waterloo Quay
• right onto Commerce Street
• 3rd exit onto Park Street
• 3rd exit onto Park Road
• continue and resume normal route

Service 13 heading from Seaton to Scatterburn
From Park Road:
• continue onto Park Road
• 2nd exit onto Park Street
• 1st exit onto Boulevard
• continue along the Boulevard using all temporary stops (bus will not serve Links Retail Park)t

• right onto Beach Boulevard
• resume normal service to Scatterburn

Service 13 heading from Seaton to Scatterburn (if serving York Street Footdee)
From Park Road:
• straight onto Park Road
• 2nd exit onto Park Street

• 3rd exit at the Beach Ballroom roundabout and continue normal route to Footdee (bus will not serve Links Retail Park)
• continue along York Street
• left onto York Place
• right onto Waterloo Quay
• right onto Commerce Street
• 2nd exit onto East North Street and resume normal route

Craigiebuckler Avenue closed from 23 July – 20 September

Craigiebuckler Avenue will be closed from 04:00 on 23 July until 17:00 on 20 September.

Service 11A will divert as follows:
Service 11A heading to Craigiebuckler
From Springfield Road via Queens Road.

Service 11A heading to Springhill
From the bus stop on Queens Road via Queens Road, Springfield Road and resume normal route
