Service Changes From Monday 27th Feb 2023

New service 1A

Due to the increased students travelling to Robert Gordons University we are introducing an additional service between Castle Street and Robert Gordons University from Monday 27th February.

Service 1A will operate between 08:00 and 17:30 Monday to Friday.

Service 15/15B

This route is currently on diversion due to the weight restriction applied to Countesswells Road.

This will become the official route from Monday 27th February with minor timetable changes due to the additional time required to make this diversion. This will now provide the top of Cults at Craigbank Drive a service 7 days a week.

Service 15 heading from City to Countesswells
From Pinewood Airyhall:
• continue to the roundabout at Aldi
• 1st exit
• right into Airyhall Avenue
• right onto Craigton Road
• continue along Craigton Road
• follow road onto Craigbank Drive
• right onto Kirk Brae
• follow road right along and resume normal route

Service 15 heading to Seaton
From Countesswells:
• continue to Beech Tree Gardens
• continue past Countesswells Road onto Kirk Brae
• left onto Craigbank Drive
• continue onto Craigton Road
• left onto Airyhall Avenue
• left onto Countesswells Road
• 2nd exit at the roundabout
• resume normal route

Craigton Road closed from 30 June to 10 July - Services 15,15B, 15s

Craigton Road will be closed from 04:00 on 30 June until 17:00 on 10 July.

Services will divert as follows:
Services 15, 15B heading from Seafield Road to Countesswells
From Seafield Road:
• continue onto Countesswells Road
• right onto Countesswells Avenue
• 2nd exit onto Countesswells Road
• right onto Kirk Brae and resume normal route

Services 15/15B heading from Countesswells to City Centre
From Kirk Brae:
• left onto Countesswells Road
Service 15 - 1st exit at the roundabout and resume normal route, then left onto Countesswells Road.
Service 15B - 2nd exit at the roundabout and stay on Countesswells Road.
• continue ahead onto Seafield Road and resume normal route.

Nearest stops are Countesswells Road and Viewfield Shops.

Service 15S heading to Hazlehead Academy
From Springfield Road:
• left onto Countesswells Road
• 3rd exit and back onto Countesswells Road and resume normal route to school.

Service 15S heading from Hazlehead Academy
From Countesswells Road:
• 3rd exit and back onto Countesswells Road
• right onto Springfield Road and resume normal route.

Blackfriars Street/St Andrew Street one-way heading to Northfield 01 July – 21 August

There will be a one-way restriction on Blackfriars Street and St. Andrew Street corridor, between its junctions with Schoolhill and Charlotte Street. The permitted direction of travel will be northbound and eastbound (heading to Northfield) from 07:00 on 01 July until 18:00 on 21 August.

• temporary stop beside Woolmanhill Hospital will be served
• 3rd exit onto Skene Street
• left onto Rosemount Viaduct
• right onto Union Terrace and resume normal route.

The nearest stops are the temporary stop at Woolmanhill Hospital and Union Terrace

Fairview Street will be closed at the junction with Gordon Brae between 09:00 on 24 June until 18:00 on 18 August.

This work will be done in phases as follows:

Phase 1: 09:00 on 24 June until approximately 17:00 on 07 August

• past Fairview Street
• right onto Laurel Drive
• right onto Fairview Brae
• left onto Fairview Street and resume normal route to Danestone

• right onto Fairview Brae
• left onto Laurel Drive
• left onto Gordon Brae and resume normal route

Phase 2: Approximately 17:00 on 07 August until 18:00 on 18 August

From 09:00 on 24 June until the School Holidays buses will divert –

Service 32B heading from Gordon Brae to Oldmachar Academy
From Fairview Street:
• after the school onto Fairview Brae
• left onto Laurel Drive
• left onto Gordon Brae and resume normal route

Service 32 heading from Oldmachar Academy to Dubford
From Gordon Brae:
• continue past Fairview Street
• right onto Laurel Drive
• continue along Laurel Drive dropping off students
• right onto Fairview Street
• right onto Fairview Brae
• left onto Laurel Drive and resume normal route

Oscar Road will be closed from 04:00 on 27 May until 17:00 on 07 July

Service 12 heading from Torry to Northfield
From Balnagask Road via Balnagask Road, Wellington Road, Polwarth Road, Walker Road and resume normal route.

Nearest stops are Balnagask Road, Walker Road

Links Road/ Urquhart Road will see closures due to works by SGN from 07:00 on 15 April until 18:00 on 28 July.

Services will divert as follows:
Phase 1 : 07:00 15 April until 18:00 27 May

Service 13 heading to Seaton will divert from Constitution Street via Links Road, Boulevard, Beach Esplanade and resume the normal route

Service 13 heading to Scatterburn will divert from Urquart Road via Links Road, Boulevard, Beach Esplanade and resume the normal route
