Upcoming Diversions in April 2025

SERVICE 31/31A – OLDBURY ROAD, WORCESTER

We have been made aware of some upcoming major closures along Oldbury Road in Worcester from 07 April through to potentially 18 July 2025 for water main replacement works.

It is thought that these works will not affect the bus route of the 31/31A until around 11 May 2025. At which point, the works move closer to the University, meaning a diversion will be in place from approximately 11 May. We will update with a definitive diversion plan closer to the date of the works.

WOODGREEN DRIVE, WARNDON VILLAGES [SERVICE 34]

Due to the closure of Woodgreen Drive between Hastings Drive and Plantation Drive on Saturday 12 April 2025 for works associated with the installation of the new pedestrian crossing, service will take a different route around the Shire Park circular section of the route. Tolladine Wood bus stop in both directions will not be served during the closure.

Service will divert from the end of Millwood Drive by turning right onto Plantation Drive instead of left. It will then use A4440 and Berkeley Way. Left into Hastings Drive (served BEFORE SHIRE PARK), then right onto Woodgreen Drive to serve Wall Meadow and Shire Park loop. After Three Pears, it will then use A4440 and Plantation Drive to resume normal route on Millwood Drive (Debdale Avenue bus stop).

A38 FERNHILL HEATH TO MARTIN HUSSINGTREE [SERVICE 144/153]

Between 2000 on Thursday 10 April and 0600 on Friday 11 April, the main road between Martin Hussingtree and Fernhill Heath will be closed for resurfacing works. Service will divert by using Hurst Lane, Cotswold Way, Berkeley Way and A4538 Pershore Lane in both direction during this period. Bus stops at White Hart, Fernhill Heath Memorial Club and Swan Inn (Martin Hussingtree) will not be served during this closure.

B4204 LOWER BROADHEATH

Between Saturday 12th and Thursday 17 April inclusive, the B4204 Lower Broadheath will be closed between Martley Road and the Bell Inn, Lower Broadheath. Service 310/315/316 will be diverted. Bus stops between Martley Road Junction and Lower Broadheath, Bell Inn will not be served during the closure.

SERVICE 310 – Will use Henwick Road, Hallow Road and Hallow Lane to resume normal route in Lower Broadheath.

SERVICE 315/316 - Will operate in the same direction using Henwick Road, Hallow Road and Hallow Lane on both services instead of doing the opposite route.

TOLLADINE ROAD, WORCESTER [SERVICE 34]

Due to the closure of Tolladine Road on Tuesday 22nd April between 0900 and 1730, service 34 will be diverted. Bus stops missed will be between Lowesmoor and Ambleside Drive.

Service will divert by using Rainbow Hill, Brickfields Road and Ambleside Drive in both directions.

SERVICE 144 – CRABTREE LANE, BROMSGROVE

Junction of Broad Street and Crabtree Lane is closed on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th April 2025. Due to this service 144 will be diverted on these 2 days.

Service will divert from Bromsgrove Bus Station via Market Street and Stourbridge Road to resume normal route at Sainsbury’s Sidemoor. Broad Street will not be served.

Bus stops along Stourbridge Road will be served as alternatives.
