Known for serving up the UK’s cheapest kebab, they’ve become legendary for their monster plate of doner, chips, and salad. All for just £4! Owners Mohammed Ummar and his brother Mohammed Jawad have vowed to never raise the price, and with portions this big and flavours this bold, it’s no wonder people can’t get enough. We’re giving it a solid 10/10 for taste and value!

Just a stone’s throw from the city centre, Bowling Park is a space run by the community, for the community. Thanks to the Friends group, there’s always something happening here, from activities to events and gatherings that bring people together.

Nestled within the park grounds is Bolling Hall museum, where you can take a step back in time and explore the lives of the Bradford families who called it home for over 500 years.

The park itself has something for everyone, with play areas, sports courts, and even a pitch-and-putt for a bit of family fun. And when the cooler months roll in, make sure to stop by The Lodge, a community-owned hub with a cosy café, plus spaces to hire for parties and events.

Serving some of the best Indian and Pakistani food in the UK, Sweet Centre is all about authentic, delicious dishes at great value. Since opening its doors on 12th December 1964, thanks to the late Haji Abdul Rehman, it’s been a local favourite. Now almost three generations later, his son Liaqat Habib is proud to keep the legacy alive, sharing his father’s talents and skills with the community.

Pop in and treat yourself to handmade classics like crispy samosas, tender kebabs, mouth-watering chana puri, and their famous sweets and mithai.
