Revenue Protection on board
Our revenue protection team regularly travel on our services to ensure everyone is travelling with a valid, correctly issued ticket. Tickets need to be collected from the driver and retained throughout the journey.
When travelling, please keep to hand:
- A valid ticket for your journey
- Your mobile phone, with mobile ticket available
- A valid smartcard
- Your concessionary pass
- A validated credit/debit card (for tap on tap off journeys)
- Any other valid travel document
Plus any ID associated with your ticket e.g. Zoom card, Student ID
If you're not able to produce a valid travel document our revenue protection team will issue a standard fare notice for £50.

Foxhill Crescent is currently blocked due to a road traffic collision.
Services to divert via Halifax Road and Wilcox Road.
Attercliffe Common - 207, X3
Attercliffe Common has been closed in one direction by unannounced Northern PowerGrid works.
Outbound services from The City diverted via Saville Street, Brightside Lane & Hawke Street.
Inbound services are unaffected.
X3 - Dale Road
Monday 28th October – Sunday 1st December
Dale Road will be closed between the junctions of Low Road and Castle Street for gas main replacement work
Services towards Sheffield to operate as normal to Low Road at the junction with New Hill then divert via New Hill and High Street before resuming normal route on Church Street.
Services to Doncaster are unaffected and should operate as normal
357, 404, 405 - Warning Tongue Lane
Monday 18th November – Friday 22nd November
09:30-15:30 Daily
Warning Tongue Lane will be closed between the above times for carriageway maintenance.
357 Services to Warning Tongue Lane are diverting via Goodison Boulevard, terminate at McCauley School.
Inbound Services to operate the reverse.
Services to Main Street and Finningley are not affected
404/455 Services are diverting via Bawtry Road, Plumpton Park Road, Goodison Boulevard and Cantley Lane.

Due to ongoing health and safety concerns regarding the use of Carver Street & Division Street during Friday and Saturday evenings, inbound services operated by First have been re-routed.
INBOUND 51 service will operate as normal to the Children's Hospital then divert down Western Bank to Brook Hill Roundabout, Upper Hanover Way, Moore Street, Charter Road, Furnival Street, Furnival Square Roundabout.
INBOUND 52A service will operate as normal to the Children's Hospital then divert down Western Bank to Brook Hill Roundabout, Upper Hanover Way, St Mary’s Gate, St Mary’s Roundabout, Eyre Street & Furnival Square roundabout.
INBOUND 95, 95A, 95B & 95S services will operate as normal to Brook Hill roundabout then divert via Upper Hanover Street, St Mary’s Gate, St Mary’s Roundabout, Eyre Street and Furnival Square, Furnival Street.

Minor timetable changes from 3 November
From Sunday 3 November, we will be introducing some minor timetable changes across Rotherham, Doncaster and Sheffield.
