Road traffic collision on Humberstone Rd

38 & 38A services are still experiencing delays

Outbound 38 & 38A services to divert from The Central Barrier via Belgrave Rd, Dyasrt Way, Humberstone Rd, back to normal route

Due to a road traffic collision at Waterloo Roundabout, Wishaw services are diverting. 

From Overtown depot. All services using Waterloo to turn right from depot gate onto Castlehill Road, continue Caledonia Road, Kirk Road to start locations.

Due to a badly parked camper van at Bradwell just before the Gap services to use Batham Road and Gore Road to turn bus.

We would like to apologise for the disruptions to our First Bus services in Somerset over the last 72 hours. We have been working hard to resolve the issues; please find below details of the amends we have now put in place to those services affected.

15 - Service will no longer serve Bridgwater Bus Station - Both Directions

A Solent from First Bus spokesperson, said:

“In a final attempt to prevent industrial action taking place over the festive period, we met with Unite again on Monday 16 and Tuesday 17 December, and ACAS (Advisory, Conciliation and Arbitration Service) acting as mediation.

“Throughout the negotiation process we have taken on Unite member feedback and made a number of offers in order to try and settle this dispute, to ensure customers are not affected by strike action.

75 Service – Until further notice

Mortomley Lane has been closed by a police incident.

Outbound services to High Green are diverting via School Road, Greengate Lane (to serve the shops), Foster Way, Thompson Hill.
