From 2 March, we’re making some changes to bus services and fares across Berkshire as part of our regular network review. These updates are designed to give you faster journeys, better connections and simpler fares.

What's Changing?

New Service M40 - High Wycombe - Uxbridge

We're introducing a brand-new express service via the M40 motorway.

The following services are experiencing unexpected disruption on 09/02/2026 >>

The 25 is diverting in both directions via the A1245 and A132 (between Wickford and Runwell) until further notice.

The following bus stops will not be served in both directions:

This road has now fully reopened 

Due to an incident on Grange Road, the services are diverting: 

Service 4,4A Towards Newton Mearns/Eaglesham

The services are diverting via Langside Road, Queens Park Street, Prospecthill Road, Battlefield Rd, Sinclair Dr normal route.

Service 11, 11X, 6, 6A,37 | The Strand Longton

The strand in Longton is currently closed due to burst gas mains, services will not be using The Strand but will be using Longton Bus Station.

Service 17, 17A

Service 18 | Stroud Road, Greenhills

UPDATE - 09:45 Tuesday 17th February

The A37 is now open under temporary traffic light control and service 376 are now operating their normal route.

The A37 Ilchester Road in Yeovil between Church Street in Ilchester and Combe Street Lane in Yeovil will be closed to service 376 from 7:00 on Monday 16th and will remain fully closed until 18:00 on Sunday 22nd February to facilitate carriageway works.

A12 -  Junction 22 to Junction 24 - NORTHBOUND will be closed for overnight roadworks from 10/02/2026 to 12/02/2026.

*This is a timed road closure: the road will be closed between 21:00hrs and 05:00hrs nightly*

Due to the location of the road closure - the 71 service will be placed on diversion:

Service 18, 18A, 18B | Mugiemoss Road
