Nether Mayne, Basildon is closed for overnight roadworks from Monday 28th July to Friday 8th August 2025.

The road will be closed from 20:00hrs each evening and will re-open from 05:00hrs each morning.

The B2 service will be permitted partial access through the road closure to retain punctuality. The B2 and 100 services will also be placed on minor diversions:

Service 1 and 2| Garthdee Road Closure | Bus Stop Closed 

Due to Garthdee Road being closed from 04:00 on 28th July until approximately 17:00 15th August.

Services 1, and 2 will be amended as follows:

Customers wishing to go to Asda from Auchinyell and Garthdee should catch Service 1 to Broomhill Road and change onto Service 2, or alight at RGU and walk to Asda.

Temporary Diversion, Route X4. Hunts Pond Road, towards Southampton.
Friday 25th July until Tuesday 8th September.

Due to roadworks on Hunts Pond Road, Route X4 will be diverting via:
Hunts Pond Road, Prelate Way, Primate Road, and Lower Church Road towards Southampton.

Service 201 | Expressway A725 | Disruption

Due to a broken down car on the Expressway A725, services cant service bus stop as they will be blocking a live lane of traffic.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Langford Road at the junction of the A38 by the petrol station will be closed overnight to the service U2 between 21:00 and 06:00 on Monday 12th and Tuesday 13th January (two nights) to facilitate carriageway works..

Services will be diverted via Langford Road (part unaffected) in both directions and the St Marys Garden bus stops will not be served and passengers are advised to board or alight at either the Veterinary College or Churchill Inn bus stops.
