From Monday 27th of February to 24th of March, there will be disruptions along the B3304 Between Porthleven Road and Penrose Hill, which will divided into two stages.

This will affect the U4 U4X.

Please note due to resurfacing works Rawcliffe Lane/Eastholme Drive/Green Lane roundabout will be closed on Monday 27th February between the hours of 0800-1700. 

Diversion route:

via Rawcliffe Drive, Rawcliffe Lane, Shipton Road

Stops not served:

Rawcliffe Lane, Eastholme Drive in both directions

FIRST WEST OF ENGLAND TO EXPAND BUS SERVICES AND

IMPROVE PUNCTUALITY OF NEW TIMETABLES

Bus operator First West of England has today announced a significant increase in the number of buses operating in the region from Sunday 2nd April.

Between 28th February - 2nd March 2023 - Colchester Road A1124, Halstead will be closed, between the hours of 20:00 - 05:00, to allow roadworks to take place.

Service 88/88A will therefore divert, in both directions, as follows via Fenn Road, Colne Road and Head Street A131.

We will be unable to serve the following Bus Stops during the closure: 

• Courtauld Playing Fields
• Nether Court
• Pretoria Road

Hareness Road will be closed for emergency work until 06:00 on 23 February

Service 18 heading to Dyce in the afternoon
From Blackness Roundabout:
• 2nd exit onto Minto Road 
• resume normal route

Maypole Road, Tiptree will be closed, 10:00 - 15:00, Wednesday 1st March 2023.

Service 75 will be permitted through the road closure.

However, please note. there may be slight delays to service as the bus will be required to wait for an operative to escort them through the closure.

Between 28th February - 2nd March 2023 - London Road, Great Notley will be closed to allow roadworks to take place.

Services 42B and 370 will therefore divert, in both directions, as follows under the A120 flyover bridge, B1256, A131 and London Road. The vehicles will turnaround at White Court bus stop and continue back up London Road.
