A section of Bergholt Road, Colchester will be closed to traffic overnight, from 21:00 to 05:00 hours, on Monday 29th April to Tuesday 30th April 2024 .

Unfortunately, due to the location of the road closure, the S3 service will be unable to serve West Bergholt. The S3 service will terminate at Railway Station (Stand B). The service will be paused and resume at the next scheduled departure time towards Colchester City Centre.

The following bus stops will not be served (in both directions):

From the 29th of April, city centre services will be diverted due to the closure of Union Street to allow upgrades to the thoroughfare between Market Street and Union Terrace. 

We have introduced diverted routes on selected services to keep you moving during the closure and to minimise delays. 

Services 1B, 19 and 20 will operate minor timetable changes.
