From Monday the 20th of March to Sunday the 9th of April, there will be an evening closure along Cromwell Road in St Austell from 19:00 to 06:00.

This will affect the last 24 service leaving Fowey at 18:35.

Buses will be diverting as follows:

The level crossing at Thorpe Road, Egham will be closed for engineering work from Friday 17 March 2023 at 2200 until 0600 on 27 March 2023. Due to this service 8 will divert via The Avenue and The Causeway in both directions for the duration of the closure.

Network Rail will be providing a free bus replacement service, which will operate from Egham Hill to High Street, Church Road, Vicarage Road, Pooley Green Road, Thorpe Lea Road and return via Vicarage Road to Church Road, High Street and Egham Hill.

Service 76 is currently unable to serve any stops along St Peter's Rise or Headley Lane. This is due to a road closure at Headley Lane.

Buses are diverting in both directions between Parson Street Station and Vicarage Road stop via the 75 route along Bishopsworth Road.

This situation is ongoing until further notice. We have a possible expected completion date of 23rd March.

Fare Changes from 31st March 2024

Following a review of our fares, we will be freezing the majority of our tickets. 

From March 31st 2024, changes will come into effect to some of our fares. However, we have worked to ensure that these increases remain below cost price inflation.

From Monday 20th March 2023, Ensignbus will sell the First Basildon Outer and All Essex Zone Adult and Child Day tickets on their buses throughout the Ensign local Thurrock network (except Z2 & X80 services). 

There is an emergency closure on Porthleven, Methleigh Bottoms from Monday the 13th of March until Friday the 7th of April.

This will affect the U4.

From Penzance

*13/04/2023 Pound Lane, Bowers Gifford has re-opened - Service 21 has resumed normal line of route*

Between Monday 20th March 2023 - Friday 14th April 2023 roadworks are taking place on Pound Lane, Bowers Gifford. For the duration of the roadworks - Pound Lane will be closed in both directions.

Change to Service 18 from 2 April 2023

From 2 April, the timetable and route for Service 18 will be revised at the request of Portsmouth City Council. 

The service will operate as far south as The Circle/Southsea Shops only.   A revised loop arrangement will be introduced in Southsea and the new route description is provided below.

Due to communications works, the above stop will be closed on the dates shown below:

A temporary stop will be supplied by the works contractors.

Muller Road by the railway bridge will be closed overnight to service 17 between 21:00 and 06:00 from Wednesday 15th through to Monday 20th March (five nights) to facilitate bridge inspection works.
