Changes to First Wessex timetables from Saturday 2 September and Sunday 10 September 2023
As we approach the end of the school summer holidays, please note that there will be a reduction in some of our services, effective from Sunday 3 September and Sunday 10 September 2023, see details below:

Portland Coaster |
Temporary Stop Closure, Gilkicker Road, Clayhall Road, Alverstoke. Route 11.
Thursday 24th August until Wednesday 6th September.
Between 0800 – 1600 each day.
Temporary Stop Closure, Westlands Grove, White Hart Lane. Route 3.
Tuesday 29th August from 0930 until 1530
Due to water utilities work, the stop at Westlands Grove will be temporary closed on the date and times shown above.
There will be a temporary supplied by the contractors.
Westburn Road will be closed heading into the City Centre from Anderson Drive to ARI from 04:00 on 01 September until 17:00 on 13 September.
Service 23 heading from Sheddocksley to City Centre
From the last stop on Lang Stracht:
• left at the traffic lights onto Anderson Drive
• right at the traffic lights onto Ashgrove Road West
• right at the traffic lights onto Foresterhill Road
• left at the traffic lights and resume normal service
Broomhill Road will be closed from Abergeldie Road to Broomhill Primary School from 04:00 on 13 September until to 17:00 on 29 September
Service 1 heading to Danestone
From Broomhill Road before Anderson Drive:
• 3rd exit at the roundabout onto Anderson Drive
• 1st exit at the roundabout onto Holburn Street
• continue along Holburn Street
• left onto Abergeldie Road
• right onto Broomhill Road
• resume normal route
Ellon Road will be closed in both directions from Balgownie Road to Gordon Barracks daily from 09:30 on 18 September until 15:30 on 29 September
Hilton Road will be closed from 09:00 on 04 September until 17:00 on 05 September.
Service 23 heading from Sheddocksley to Heathryfold
From Clifton Road:
• continue along Clifton Road
• left onto Hilton Avenue
• right onto Hilton Drive
• resume normal route
Service 23 heading from Heathryfold to Sheddocksley
From Hilton Drive:
• No left turn onto Hilton Road
• left onto Hilton Avenue
• right onto Clifton Road
• resume normal route
From Sunday 24th September, revised timetables will be in place with minor adjustments on the following services:
Service 57 & 57A
Red Road southbound.
To allow for works on Sunday 27th August between 09:00hrs until 16:00hrs Red Road southbound will close.
During the closure the following diversions will be in operation:
Service 57 towards Silverburn
Service 226
Brankholm Brae
To allow for resurfacing on Monday 28th August until Wednesday 30th August Brankholm Brae will close.
During the closure the following diversions will be in operation:
Service 226 towards Fairhill
