Lodge Road, Writtle is closed for daily roadworks from 30/06/2026 to 02/07/2026. 

*This is a timed road closure: the road will be closed daily between 09:30hrs and 14:30hrs*

Due to the location of the roadworks - the C4 will be placed on diversion:

Towards Writtle: The C4 will divert via Ongar Road, Bulimers Way, Greenbury Way (A414) and Westway before returning to normal line of route.

The following bus stops will not be served:

Rayleigh Road (A1015), Southend-on-Sea is closed for roadworks from 22/06/2026 to 20/07/2026*

*This is a directional road closure and will only affect services travelling NORTHBOUND*

Due to the location of the roadworks - the following services will be placed on diversion: 20 / 20S / 25 / 625 / 825 / X30

The 20 will divert via Southend Arterial Road (A127) and Progress Road.

The following bus stops will not be served:

Somerville Road, Willand, closed with no prior notice and until further notice.
 
X22 service divert via through Uffculme then at the roundabout head onto S View Road then take up normal service, missing out Somerville Road.

We're making some adjustments to our Solent network from Sunday 26th July

These changes include revised frequencies on Services 1 and 3, the introduction of a new express service, the X3, and timetable updates to Services X4 and X5. 

The new X3 service will provide a direct link between Fareham and South Parade Pier, offering a faster journey and serving customers travelling to and from Southsea.

Church Road, Boreham is closed for roadworks from 17/06/2026 to 19/06/2026.

Due to the location of the road closure - the 71 / 73A / 73B will divert in both directions via Main Road (B1137).

The following bus stop will not be served in both directions:

• Old Forge Road
• Butterfield Road
• St Andrew Church
• Haselfoot Road (73A / 73B)
• Plantation Road

Passengers are advised to use the following alternate bus stop(s) to board/disembark services:

Bergholt Road, Colchester is closed for overnight roadworks from 18/06/2026 to 19/06/2026.

*This is a timed road closure: the road will be closed nightly between 18:00hrs and 06:00hrs*

Due to the location of the road closure - the 53  / 53A will be unable to serve West Bergholt. All journeys will terminate / recommence at North Station, Colchester.

The following bus stops will not be served in both directions:

Colchester Road, West Bergholt is closed for overnight roadworks. The permit's end date is 17 Jun.

Due to the location of the road closure - the 53 will be placed on diversion:

Towards Colchester City Centre: The 53 will divert via Mumford Road and Chapel Road. The following bus stops will not be served:

Layer Road, Colchester is closed for daily roadworks from 20/06/2026 to 26/06/2026.

Sudbury Road, Downham is closed for roadworks. The permit's end date is 1 Jul 23:59 BST.

Due to the location of the road closure - the 13A / 13B will divert in both directions via Crowsheath Lane and Hawkswood Road.

The following bus stops will not be served in both directions:

• Castledown Road
