Service 38, 38A, 39, 39A | Basford Bank | Roadworks

Due to roadworks on Basford Bank, services are experiencing delays of up to 30 minutes.

Services to divert in both directions via Etruscan Street which will mean the bus stops on Basford Bank will not be served.

Passengers will need to go to George Street.

Service 355, 356, 366, 372, 373, 381, 382, 384, 387, 388 | Waterdale | Police Incident

Waterdale is blocked due to a police incident, services are diverting as follows:

UPDATE - 12:00 Monday 26th January. New date given due to the prospect of bad weather tonight.

Fairfax Street will now be closed overnight to services between 19:00 and 05:00 on Wednesday 28th January. Services will be diverted but no bus stops will be missed.

Nelson Street will be closed from 22:00 to 05:00 and services will be diverted and will be unable to serve the Nelson Street bus stops and passengers are advised to board or alight at The Horsefair bus stops.

Due to ongoing roadworks on Ferry Bridge and temporary traffic lights causing significant delays, we'll be making temporary timetable changes to Service 1 and 10 from 1 March. 

These changes are designed to improve reliability and help keep buses running as close to time as possible. 

Service 1 - Portland Rip Croft to Weymouth King's Statue

Service 1 has a revised timetable to help manage delays caused by the roadworks on Ferry Bridge.

Service 101

The bus stop - The George & Dragon PH (near), A34, Meaford, ST15 8ZS (3800C716302) will be suspended for one day only on 27th January 2026 for Openreach works.

College Road will be closed between Monday 26th January & Tuesday 27th January between the hours of 22:00 and 02:00

During this time 9, 23 and 25 services will divert outbound via Potteries Way, Stoke Road, Station Road. Inbound will be the same in reverse

Customers wishing to alight the bus on College Road, should head over to and board from Stoke Road.  

Due to heavy congestion and a lane closure, 4 services to divert via Melton Road (R) Troon Way (L) Nicklaus Road ~ In both directions
