Service C6 is currently unable to serve Maltings Estate, Great Baddow due to a poorly parked car on Parkview Crescent. The C6 will divert via Church Street and West Hanningfield Road until further notice.

There will be a series of rolling road closures affecting South Beach Parade, Harboard Crescent and Peggoty Road at the times shown above.

The road has reopened to traffic following a Police incident earlier. Service 622, 626, 633, 680 reverting to normal route


There are reports of a Police incident at Manor Row near the J/O Hamm Strass, and the road is currently blocked.

Due to advert panel works, the bus stops on Hope Street at Central Station will be closed on Monday, 3rd, Tuesday, 4th and Wednesday, 5th November between 21:00-05:00 each night.

This Friday, residents are invited to sneak a peak of the new zero tailpipe emissions buses ahead of 55 electric buses taking to routes serving Basildon and neighbouring areas.  

First Bus in the East of England and Essex County Council invite everyone to join them for an exclusive early preview of one of these cutting-edge zero tailpipe emission buses at Mother & Child Fountain, E Walk, Basildon from 10:00-15:00 on Friday 31 October.

Church Road Roundabout will reopen from Sunday 2nd November, although Church Lane from the roundabout to the traffic lights at Magdalen Way will remain closed until 12th November
