A manager with First Bus in Aberdeen has received recognition in the Scottish Parliament for his services to public transport.
David Adam retires as Operations Manager of the depot in Aberdeen at the end of August after a career spanning almost 50 years.
He was surprised this week by local MSP Jackie Dunbar, who presented a framed copy of a Motion submitted to parliament which praises his achievements for First Bus and wider involvement in history-making events in Scotland.
Cameron Walk, Lockleaze will be closed from 18:00 Friday 16th October until Monday 2nd November 18:00. This will affect services 24 & 72.
Service 24 towards Ashton Vale will operate normal route as far as Gainsborough Square then instead of using Cameron Walk will take the next exit Brangwyn Grove to Romney Avenue then turn right to resume normal route.
Highridge Road Bristol will be closed for emergency water works From 16:00 Wednesday 28th October until further notice. This will affect service 75.
Service 75 towards Cribbs Causeway will follow normal route as far as Highridge Road ( Cox's Garage ) then turn right onto King Georges Road and then left onto Queens Road and follow through to Church Road to resume normal Route.
From Cribbs Causeway service 75 will follow Church Road, Grange Road and King Georges Road.
Services will not serve Church Road bus stop.
Due to a police incident, Airdrie Cross to Petersburn is closed
Service 201/211 diverting as below
Normal route to Airdrie then at the swimming take a right on the roundabout and continue on to normal route
Road Traffic Collision, Armley Gyratory
Wellington Road to Gyratory heading towards Elland Road
Services facing delays as a result.
Butt Lane, Hall Lane, Old Farnley now clear and services back to normal
Butt Lane, Hall Lane, Old Farnley Blocked Parked Cars
