Service 87 currently impacted by multiple road closures:
East Hanningfield Road, Chelmsford is closed from 08:00 to 18:00 on 30/10/2025.
Due to the location of the road closure - the 3 service will divert in both directions via Southend Road/Main Road and East Hanningfield Road.
The following bus stop(s) will not be served in both directions:
Service 11
The length of Anchor Road is closed due to pot hole works.
Services using Anchor Road such as the 11 will divert as follows.
Outbound - Dividy Road, Parkhall Road, Weston Road, Weston Coyney Road and Uttoxeter Road.
Inbound - Uttoxeter Road, Weston Coyney Road, Weston Road, Parkhall Road and Dividy Road.
The following services have been cancelled, due to operational issues:

BALBY ROAD SERVICES Due to traffic light malfunction on Balby Road services towards Doncaster will divert via Greenfield Lane and Urban Road (Hexthorpe) until further notice. |
Marazion Remembrance Day will be taking place on Sunday the 9th of November between the hours of 10:00 to 14:00.
This will affect the U4 service.
During this time, buses will be diverting as follows:
Towards Penzance
The First Bus fleet of 5,700 buses across the UK is enabling serving Armed Forces personnel, cadets and veterans to travel for free to events commemorating Remembrance Sunday on 9 November and Armistice Day on Tuesday 11 November.
All current and former members of the military and cadets need to do is show the driver their Armed Forces ID or wear their medals or uniform.
If safe to do so, First Bus drivers will be allowed to pull over at 11:00am on both days to observe the two minutes’ silence.
From Monday the 3rd of November to Thursday the 6th of November, there will be a closure along the B3283 between Lands’ End Road And St Buryan Hill, St Buryan between the hours of 90:30 and 16:00.
This will affect the 1 & 1A services.
From Penzance
These works have been revised and will remain in place until Friday the 7th of Novemeber
Service 24
Lon Camlad in Morriston will be closed 07:30 - 17:00 for resurfacing works on Thursday 30th & Friday 31st October.
Service 24 will miss out Lon Camlad completely and remain on Caemawr Road during the closures.
Yellow Line 28, 29, X29 Services
Due to roadworks expected to last until 1st December in Drayton, we will be experiencing delays of up to 30 mins and possible service cancellations as a result.
