Queen Elizabeth Way, Colchester is closed for roadworks from 13/03/2026 to 18/03/2026.
Due to the location of the road closure - the 55 / 68 will be diverting in both directions via Mersea Road and Stansted Road. The following bus stops will not be served:

- Monkwick Avenue

Due to an incident on the North Bridge, all services are to divert onto St George’s Bridge in both directions until further notice.

Due to an obstruction on Arkaig Street, services to divert as follow:

From Pather continue Ness Street, Linnhe Cresenct, normal route.
Service 64 | Carmyle Avenue Phase 2 Closure
Some services in Kidsgrove and Butt Lane may be affected due to increased traffic and parking around the local football club.
This may make it difficult for buses to access parts of the Butt Lane estate. If buses are unable to get through, services may need to operate via the man road only (First Avenue/Cedar Avenue).

The roundabout on St John's road is blocked so our services will be going down Main Road only until further notice.

Stand M, Bradford Interchange - The stand doors have been repaired and service 72 to operate from Stand M.
Service 356 | M18, White Rose Way
Due to a road traffic collision at the M18 roundabout at White Rose Way, all 356 services are diverted onto Carolina Way, Lakeside Boulevard, Gliwice Way, Bawtry Road, Great Yorkshire Way to resume normal service at the iPort.
