51 & 52a Services - Until further notice

Durham Road has been closed by unannounced SCC works.

INBOUND services diverted via Western Bank, Brookhill roundabout, Broad Lane & Mappin Street.

Due to unannounced roadworks, Greenfield Lane has been closed.

Services divert as follows

Service to go straight up and back using Balby Road in Both Directions

From Greenfield Lane, left onto Florence Avenue, right onto Mansfield Road, left onto Balby Road, around the flyover, back up Balby Road, resuming normal route at Sandford Road.

A371 Haybridge, Draycott will be closed on 16th May, from 09:30 until 15:00 (estimated). This will affect service 126.

Service will divert in both directions via B3139 to Wedmore, Cheddar Road B3151 to resume normal route at Cheddar. The following bus stops will not able to be served: Church Street, Garden Centre until Haybridge Villa's Haybridge Touring Park.

Please use stops at Union Street, Tweentown or Cemetery instead.

Services L1/L2 will operate along Maestref in both directions due to the Closure of Maeswerdd till 8th May.

Louviers Road, Littlemoor 

Dorset Council will be carrying out targeted and localised repairs to sections of that road.

Monday 18th of May until Thursday 21st of May Between the hours of 09:00 – 16:00 only

On Friday the 22nd and Saturday 23rd of May the closure times will be 20:00 – 06:00

Phased surface work taking place between the hours of 09:30 – 15:30hrs only on 23/04/26.

Towards Yeovil
Normal route to Crewkerne Market Square, then A356 to A303 to Cartgate, then A3088, Western Relief Road, then continue along A3088 Lysander Road taking 1st exit off roundabout and continue normal route.

Towards Bridport
Reverse of Yeovil bound journey

We will not be able to serve A30 and East Chinnock or West Coker Road in their entirety.

Abbeydale Road has now reopened and services back to regular routes

Services 97,98 Abbeydale Road – IN BOTH DIRECTIONS

Workmen have again closed Abbeydale road in both directions without warning services in both directions to divert via Woodseats Road, Chesterfield Road and Abbey Lane

The trial began at the First Bus depot in Glasgow, and will also extend to the Great Yarmouth depot in Norfolk later in the spring. It is the first time a UK bus operator has enrolled electric depots into the National Grid balancing mechanism, which balances electricity supply and demand shortly before electricity delivery.

Tuesday 19th and Wednesday 20th May.

Due to the annual Wickham Horse Fair, route SD4 will divert via: Heathlands / High Street, Gravel Hill, Bishops Wood Road, and the A32 in both directions.
