To allow for overrunning resurfacing works On Wednesday 26th October until further notice New Street will be closed.
During the closure the following diversions will be in operation:
Service 9 towards Paisley
Alexandria Main Street
Due to an unsafe Building on Wednesday 26th October until the works are complete Alexandria Main Street will be closed
During the closure the following diversions will be in operation
Service 1 towards Balloch
Changes to Grasshopper zone names and fare will be effective from 31st October 2022.
- Zone 1 will change to Zone A
- Zone 1-3 will change to Zone B
- Zone 1-6 will change to Zone C

From Monday the 24 October for up to four weeks the E2 service cannot turn right into Anns Hill Road heading towards Fareham. Two stops cannot be served during this diversion. They are War Memorial Hospital and Cheriton Road. The diversion is via Gordon Road and Carnarvon Road. Bus stops on the diversion will be served. The road will open as soon as these works are complete.
Woolston Road and Grange Road crossroadswill be closed OVERNIGHT ONLY.
These works are from 25 October for three nights from 20:00 to 06:00 each night.
Service City Red 6 will divert in the evening via Weston Lane, Weston Foreshore, Victoria Road, and Hound Way. Missing out Grange Road, Ingleside and Butlocks Heath. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused.
Service 6 revised timetable from 31 October 2022
Following a re-tender process from Dorset Council, we have been asked to operate the new 6 timetable between Bridport and Yeovil from Monday 31 October 2022. Service 6 will now operate via South Street, Bridport and will no longer serve Gerrards Green. You can view and download the new timetable below.
Kingston Street
Due to a fire on Sunday 16th October until further notice Kingston Street is closed.
During the closure all stops will be observed and the following diversions will be in operation:

From Kepplehills Road:
• continue along Kepplehills Road
• right into Kepplehills Drive
• resume normal route
Service 17/172 heading to Faulds Gate:
From Kepplehills Drive:
• turn left into Kepplehills Road
• resume normal route after the shops
In addition to the Winter Festival diversion, Hutcheon Street will be closed from George Street to Mounthooly Roundabout from 04:00 on 08 November until 17:00 on 12 November
Service 11/11A heading to Northfield
From Union Street:
• continue onto King Street
• left onto West North Street
• 3rd exit at Mounthooly Roundabout onto Causewayend
• left at lights onto Fraser Place
• left onto George Street
• right at lights onto Hutcheon Street
• resume normal route
