Clacton Road (Great Oakley) is closed from Monday 25th  September to Friday 29th September between 0800 and 1800hrs.

Towards Harwich:

From Wix, buses will continue past the War Memorial to the end of the road, onto the A120 and Church Hill to continue back on line of route.

Due to Weymouth Town Bridge being closed for maintenance between Monday 25 September and Thursday 30 November, service 8 will be on the following diversion: 

Service 8 towards Chickerell will divert via Esplanade Road, Kings Street where the service will continue over Swannery Bridge, Westwey Road, and onto Newstead Road where it will continue on the normal route.

Service 8 towards Weymouth Kings Statue will divert via Westham Road, Esplanade Road and terminate at Kings Statue stand K5.

Changes to First Wessex timetables from Sunday 1 October 2023 

Between 27th and 29th September there will be roadworks OVERNIGHT only near to the George Public House on Portsdown Hill Road. Service 7 will need to divert away from this area northbound only between 8pm and 2am each night. The diversion will be:- London Road, Ladybridge Road to Stakes Road. The section of route that will be missed is between The George and Crookhorn. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Service X30 & 300

Parkway will be closed between Market roundabout and the Viaduct to install new cables for the railway bridge from Monday 25th September until Friday 13th October between the hours of 20:00hrs to 05:00hrs (Mon to Fri only).

Wood Street roundabout will be closed on Sunday 24th September from 19:00hrs until 05:00hrs on Monday 25th September 2023.

Towards Galleywood

Buses will continue along Parkway to Army and Navy and divert via Baddow Road and Beehive Lane to pick up line of route from the Junction of Firecrest Road.

Our revenue protection team regularly travel on our services to ensure everyone is travelling with a valid, correctly issued ticket. Tickets need to be collected from the driver and retained throughout the journey.

On Sunday 12th November 2023 West Street in Fareham will be closed between 9.30am and 12.30pm for a Remembrance Day Parade. During this time all services will divert along Western Way and Hartlands Road. Alternative stops are at Fareham Bus Station or Rail Station. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused.
