Braiswick (B1508), Colchester will be closed overnight for roadworks from 19:30 Friday 16th February to 05:00 on Saturday 17th February 2024.

Due to the location of the road closure the S3 will be unable to serve West Bergholt. The S3 service will divert via Tufnell Way, Apprentice Drive, Fan Avenue, Axial Drive and Tufnell Way. The service will pause at Tufnell Way bus stop and then resume journey at scheduled departure time.

The following bus stops will not be served (in both directions):

From Friday 1st March, we'll be introducing Revenue Protection Officers on board our buses in the West of England.

Temporary diversion of routes 3, X4 and SD5.
Monday 19th February until Thursday 25th April.
Quay Street and East Street Fareham.

From Friday the 16th of February at 19:00 to Monday the 19th of February at 06:00, there will be a closure along the A391.

This will affect the U1 and U1A services.

Buses will be diverting up the Airfield Road from Penstraze up to the A30, then via the A30 to Chiverton Interchange and leave it there for either St Agnes or the Newquay Road.

Please note Skeldergate will be closed for gas works between Monday 19 February and Friday 8 March. Services 3, 4 and 59 will be diverted.

Blossom St, turn right and proceed along Nunnery Lane, Price’s Lane and Bishopgate Street to Skeldergate Bridge

Service 59
Use normal route to Rougier street then Ousebridge Clifford Street Fishergate loop back into Cliffford Street

Stops not served:

Service 102/104 

Mayes Lane will be closed to traffic from Monday 12th - Friday 16th February 2024.

Throughout the duration of the closure the 102/104 Service will be on diversion:

Towards Harwich - Continue along Oakley Road (B1414), 1st exit at the mini roundabout and then right onto Main Road (B1352).

Towards Colchester - the same diversion in reverse.

The following bus stops will not be served (in both directions):

Countesswells Road will be closed between Springfield Road and Airyhall School heading to Countesswells from 19:30 on 20 February until 15:30 on 22 February.

Service 15B heading from Seafield Road to Countesswells
From the last stop before the traffic lights:
• left onto Springfield Road
• right onto Craigton Road
• continue along Craigton Road (bus will not serve Airyhall)
• resume normal service
