Change to Service 18 from 2 April 2023

From 2 April, the timetable and route for Service 18 will be revised at the request of Portsmouth City Council. 

The service will operate as far south as The Circle/Southsea Shops only.   A revised loop arrangement will be introduced in Southsea and the new route description is provided below. 

Temporary Stop Closure, Fairfield Road.
Route 21.

Due to communications works, the above stop will be closed on the dates shown below:

Start of suspension: 24/03/2023
End of suspension: 28/03/2023

A temporary stop will be supplied by the works contractors.

Muller Road by the railway bridge will be closed overnight to service 17 between 21:00 and 06:00 from Wednesday 15th through to Monday 20th March (five nights) to facilitate bridge inspection works.

Chapel Road, West Bergholt will be closed, between 09:30 and 15:30, Monday 20th March to Thursday 23rd March 2023.

Service S3 will be permitted through the road closure.

However, please note. there may be slight delays to service as the bus will be required to wait for an operative to escort them through the closure.

Drury Road, Colchester will be closed between the hours of 20:00 and 06:00 on:

• Wednesday 29th March 2023

Phase 3

This road closure will affect Services S6 and S7:

Services S6 and S7 will divert, in both directions, via Boadicea Way, Shrub End Road and Maldon Road. Normal line of route resumes.

Shrub End Road, Colchester will be closed between the hours of 20:00 and 06:00 on:

• Wednesday 22nd March 2023
• Thursday 23rd March 2023

Phase 2

This road closure will affect Services 1A and 75.

Shrub End Road will be closed between the hours of 20:00 and 06:00 on:

• Friday 17th March 2023
• Monday 27th March 2023

Phase 1 

This road closure will affect Services 1A and 75:

Due to a planned road closure we are unable to serve Pound Bank Road, Bellars Lane or Eston Avenue on the 365 service to and from Hanley Castle High School until 08 April.

Passengers will need to wait on Bluebell Close or at Barnard’s Green shops to catch this service to the school.

Changes to services 3, 4, 6, 7 and X74 from Sunday 2 April 2023

From Sunday 2 April, we're revising timetables for services 3, 4, 6, 7 & X74 to reflect the current demand for bus travel on these services. Services 4 and 6 will also have a change to their route.

Route 11

15th March 2023. For one day only.

Due to the road works in Vale Grove making it impassable for large vehicles, route 11 will divert via: Amberley Road, Albemarle Avenue and Melville Road in both directions.
