Between the 3rd and 5th January the bus stop on Downwood Way called Coombe Close will be closed and a temporary bus stop will be supplied nearby. Please signal clearly your intention to travel. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused during these works. The contractor may change these works at short notice. 

Please note: Due to resurfacing works Tadcaster Road will be closed between Sunday 7 January and Tuesday 9 January during the hours of 21:00 - 06:00. Service 4 will follow a diverted route.

Diversion route:
From Acomb normal route to Eason View then, Thanet Rd, Gale Lane, Front St, York Rd, Holgate Rd.

Stops not served:
Tadcaster Road.

Please note: Due to resurfacing works, The Mount will be closed on Wednesday 3 January between 21:30 - 06:00. Service 4 will follow a diverted route.

Diversion route:
Knavesmire Road, Bishopthorpe Road, Scarcroft Road in both directions.

Albion Street in Hanley will be closed from Friday 22 December until Friday 29 December.  During the closure 

Services 7, 7A, 18, 3, 3A & 8 will divert via Potteries Way, Broad Street, Trinity Street & Stafford Street.

Services 4, 4A, 23, 21, 21A, 25 & 101 will divert via Potteries Way & Broad Street.

There will be no service outbound on Bethesda Street or Broad Street Hanley.

There will be an overnight closure of St Georges Road in Portsmouth on Sunday 8th January. Service 3 will divert away from this area between 19:00 and 05:00. Two stops in each direction will be closed, these are Cambridge junction and Gunwharf Quays. Please use alternative stops at St Georges Square or Kings Road junction. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused during these works. Please note we have no control over these works and the contractor may change them at short notice.

From 8 January, we have some minor service changes coming into place, please see below:

55/56: New times introduced to allow the service to use the new iport bridge.  The opening of the bridge has been delayed until further notice.  Services 55/56 will remain unchanged.

THESE ROAD WORKS HAVE NOW BEEN CANCELLED

On Monday the 8th January 2024 the bus stop on Highlands Road called Festing Road will be closed all week due to road works. There is no room to site a temporary stop so please use the next stop at Bristol Road. This affects the service 2 eastbound only. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused. We have no control over these works and the contractor may change them at short notice.

Broad Street will be closed overnight between the hours of 19:00 and 06:00 on the 08 to 10 January, buses will divert as follows:

Services 17,17A,172,19 heading from George Street to Union Street
From Berry Street:
• right onto Gallowgate
• left onto Littlejohn Street
• right onto West North Street
• right onto King Street (stop at St Andrew’s Cathedral)
• resume normal service from Union Street
