Forthcoming Fare Changes: 4th August

Due to emergency gas works, until the works are complete, Cathedral Street between Collins Street and Castle Street will be closed.

During the closure all stops will be observed and the following diversion will be in operation.

Service 19 towards Holland Street

Normal route Royston Road at Castle Street, continue Royston Road onto Baird Street, Kyle Street, North Hanover Street, right into Cathedral Street, normal route.

Service 57 & 57A towards Shawlands

Normal route Springburn Road at Charles Street, left into slip road for Royston Road, right into Royston Road, Baird Street, Kyle Street, North Hanover Street, right into Cathedral Street, normal route.

Service 38, 38A, 38B, 38C & 38C towards City/Shawlands

Normal route Alexandra Parade at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, right into Castle Street, left into Baird Street, Kyle Street, North Hanover Street, right into Cathedral Street, normal route.

Due to emergency closure of Netherton Street, until road reopens the following diversion will be in place.

Services 241/266 towards Wishaw
Normal route Netherton Road, continue Netherton Road, left Caledonian Road, left Alexander Street, 1st exit Heathery Roundabout onto Netherton Street, right into Wishaw General Hospital normal route.

Services 241/266 towards Motherwell
From Wishaw General Hospital, left Heathery Roundabout, 4th exit Alexander Street, right Caledonian Road, right Netherton Street normal route.

Services will be subject to delay due to diversion and volume of traffic in the area – please plan ahead.

Cathedral Street (Westbound) between Collins Street and Castle Street - Emergency road closure

Service 57A | Scotsburn Road, Barmulloch 

To allow for resurfacing works, on Wednesday 5th November between 08:00 until 18:00, Scotsburn Road will be closed.

During the closure all stops will be observed and the following diversion will be in operation.

Please advise passengers before going on diversion and where next stop is.

Service 57A towards Barlornock:

Diverting via Broomfield Road at Broomfield Roundabout and Rye Road.

Service 57A towards Kennishead:

Reverse of above

Services X3, X85, X87

Due to Motorway works on Friday 7th November 20:00 until Saturday 8th November 06:00 the M80 J1 towards M8 West Bound will be closed.

During the closure the following diversions will be in operation:

Express Services X3, X85, X87 diverting via Provan Road, Cumbernauld Road, Alexandra Parade, Castle Street and Cathedral Street.

Service 242

Heathery Road, Wishawhill is closed due to an unplanned road closure.

These works are expected to be in place for 2-3 weeks.

Service 4A | Hill Drive, Eaglesham | Resurfacing Works

To allow for resurfacing works, from Monday 27th October until Friday 14th November between 08:30 and 16:00 each day, Hill Drive will be closed.

During the closure all stops the following diversion will be in operation.

Service 4A towards Eaglesham: Normal route Gilmour Street, Polnoon Street, Montgomery Street, Gilmour Street and take recovery at first stop, then normal route.

Hillington Road

To allow for major works on Hillington Interchange, the 9A service from Braehead will not serve Penilee/Hillington Industrial Estate between 20:00-06:00 nightly on these dates:

Passengers wishing to get to Penilee/Hillington Industrial Estate will have to use last stop on Kings Inch Road or Paisley Road West at Morrisons and 9A to Penilee.
