77 - Glasgow Airport

M8 J27 East Bound off slip closure.

To allow for Motorway works on Wednesday 19th February 20:00 until Thursday 20th February 06:00 M8 J27 off slip East Bound will be closed.

During the closure the following diversion will be in operation:

Service 77 towards Buchanan Bus Station:

Normal route White Cart Road at Sanderling Road left 1st exit on the roundabout Sanderling Road, right 2nd exit on the roundabout Inchinnan Road, Love Street, left Niddry Street, left Renfrew Road, ahead 2nd exit on the roundabout Renfrew Road, right 2nd exit on the roundabout Renfrew Road, left 1st exit on the roundabout Renfrew Road normal route.

Waterloo Street/Newton Street. M8 on slip closures. Service 500.

To allow for Motorway works on Wednesday 19th February until Monday 24th February M8 J19-21 West Bound & Waterloo Street & Newton Street on slips to M8 will close between 20:00 and 06:00 each night.

During the closure the following diversions will be in operation:

Service 500 towards Glasgow Airport:

Normal route: St Vincent Street at Renfield Street left Renfield Street, Union Street, Jamaica Street, Glasgow Bridge, Bridge Street, right Nelson Street, Morrison Street, Paisley Road, Paisley Road West, 2nd exit at roundabout onto Helen Street left M8 westbound on slip, M8 normal route.
 

To allow for road works on Wednesday 19th February 20:00 until Thursday 20th February 06:00 A725 towards the Whirlies Roundabout will be closed heading towards East Kilbride.

During the closure, the following diversions will be in operation:

Service 201 towards East Kilbride:

Normal route A725 and continue towards Mavor Roundabout, take 1st exit onto Kingsway A749 to Whirlies, 2nd exit at roundabout onto Calderwood Road normal route. 
 

To allow for resurfacing works on Tuesday 18th February 09:00 until Wednesday 19th February 18:00 Victoria Road will be closed between Allison Street and Queens Drive.

During the closure the following diversions will be in operation:

Services 4, 4A, 5 & 6 towards Battlefield.

Normal route Victoria Road at Allison Street, left onto Allison Street, right Cathcart Road, right Prospecthill Road, right Queens Part Street through Hospital grounds, left at traffic lights onto Grange Road normal route.

Services 4, 4A, 5 & 6 towards Gorbals Street.

Normal route Grange Road at New Victoria Hospital, right onto Queens Park Street through Hospital Grounds, left Prospecthill Road, left Cathcart Road, left Calder Street, right Victoria Road normal route.

To allow for Motorway works on Monday 17th February until Wednesday 5th March, M80 J1 towards M8 J13 will be closed weekdays only from 20:00 until 06:00 each night (no work carried out on weekends)

Services X3 X85 X87 towards City

Normal route M80 and exit J1, then 2nd exit at roundabout and taking M8 J13 on slip East Bound, next exit at J12, right Cumbernauld Road and return M8 West Bound to rejoin M8 normal route.

Service Disruption

Due to major roadworks on Gateside Street, Hamilton, from Monday 13th January for 9 weeks, disruption is expected on Services 226 & 229 and some bus stops will be closed.

Passengers are advised to plan their journey in advance.

Hope Street Bus Stop Closures
 

From Monday 6th January for approximately 8 weeks, Hope Street will be reduced to one lane between West George Street and West Regent Street. 
 

The following bus stops will be closed:

• West Regent Lane (before)
  Stop code: 609012
  Services that used this stop: 6, 6A, 7, 7A, 75

  Services that used this stop: 3, 4, 4A, 9, 9A, 18, X8

Passengers are directed to use the next alternative stops: 

• Services 3, 4, 4A, 18: use Bath Street
   
• Services 6, 6a: use Hope St at Theatre Royal
   
• Services 7, 7A, 75: use Hope St at Savoy Centre
   
• Services 60, 60a, 61: use Hope St at Watt Brothers
   
• Services 9, 9A, X8 ONLY: Use the first bus stop at Watt Brothers to drop off/pick up.

Services 60 60A 61 & M3 Phoenix Road To allow for works, on Saturday 22nd July until August 2025

Phoenix Road will fully close.

Service M3 towards Milton Will divert Garscube Road.
