Service 31/331 | Maldon Road, Danbury | OVERNIGHT road closures

• UPDATED 11/03/2025: The diversion route has been revised due to obstructions on original diversion route.

Stock Road A12 Flyover and slip-roads to A12 are closed for overnight roadworks on Tuesday 11th March 2025.

Due to the location of the road closure the 300 service will divert in both directions via London Road/Widford Viaduct/London Road (A1114), Three Mile Hill (A414), A12, Chelmsford Road, A129, Mountnessing Road and Radford Way.

A129/Golden Jubilee Way, Wickford is closed for overnight roadworks from Tuesday 11th March to Saturday 15th March 2025.

The road is to be closed from 20:00hrs each evening and is to re-open from 05:00hrs each morning.

Due to the location of the road closure the 25 and X10 services will be placed on diversion:

Towards Southend-on-Sea: The 25 service will divert after serving The Swans via Runwell Road, A1245 and A127 before returning to normal line of route on London Road.

Towards Stansted Airport: The X10 service will divert via Nevendon Road. All bus stops served as normal.

Towards Basildon: The X10 service will divert after serving Ryerson Drive via Runwell Road, A1245 and A127 before returning to normal line of route on East Mayne. The following bus stops (towards Basildon) will not be served:

• Runwell Church
• Wickford Memorial Park
• The Swans
• Wickford Railway Station.

Coppice Road, Theydon Bois is closed for roadworks from Tuesday 11th March to Tuesday 18th March 2025.

Due to the location of the road closure - the 620 service will be unable to serve Theydon Bois, and will be placed on diversion:

The 620 service will divert, after serving Roding Hall at 07:00, via Abridge Road, Chigwell Lane, Rectory Lane and Golding's Hill. The next stop will be Wake Arms at 07:20. Due to length of diversion there will likely be delays to service.

To Abridge

The 620 service will divert, after serving Wake Arms at 16:47, via Golding's Hill, Rectory Lane, Chigwell Lane and Abridge Road. The next/last stop of the afternoon journey will be Roding Hall at 17:00. Due to length of diversion there will likely be delays to service.

The following bus stop(s) will not be served in both directions:

• Theydon Bois Green
• Theydon Bois Village Hall

West Street, Coggeshall is closed for roadworks from Friday 7th March to Wednesday 12th March 2025.

Due to the location of the road closure; the X20, 320 and 570 services have been placed on diversion:

Towards Stansted Airport/Braintree: The X20 and 320 services will divert, after Market Hill, via East Street, Colchester and the A120 before returning to normal line of route.

Towards Colchester: The X20 and 320 services will divert via the A120, Colne Road, Church Green, and Church Street before turning the vehicle and, returning to normal line of route, back along Church Street.

Towards Colchester: The 570 service will divert via the A120, Colne Road, Church Green, and Church Street before turning vehicle and returning to normal line of route on Church Street.

Towards Great Dunmow: The 570 service will divert, after serving Vane Lane bus stop, by returning back along Church Street, Church Green, and Colne Road before returning to normal line of route on the A120.

The following bus stops will not be served in both directions:

Due to the location of the road closure; the 21 and 21A services will divert in both directions via Bournes Green Chase and North Shoebury Road.

• UPDATED 11/03/2025: The emergency road closure of Gunson Gate has been extended from 06/03/2025 to 12/03/2025.

Gunson Gate, Chelmsford is closed for emergency roadworks from Thursday 6th March 2025 to Wednesday12th March 2025.

Due to the location of the road closure, the C5 service will not serve Gunson Gate line of route. Instead, the C5 will operate all journeys via Baddow Road/Beehive Lane line of route - via Van Diemans Road, Baddow Road, Beehive Lane and Loftin Way.

The following bus stop(s) will not be served in both directions:

The Brentwood Half Marathon is taking place on Sunday 23rd March 2025.

Whilst the event is in progress, traffic management will be enforced to ensure the safety of race participants:

The road is to be closed from 19:00hrs each evening and is to re-open from 05:00hrs each morning.

Due to the location of the road closure the 31 and 331 services will divert in both directions via Burnham Road/Chelmsford Road (B1010), Baron's Lane, Fambridge Road and Limebrook Way.

The following stops will not be served in both directions:

• Post Office Road
• Rectory Lane
• Woodham Mortimer Church

Pump Lane, Chelmsford is closed for overnight roadworks from Monday 10th March to Sunday 16th March 2025.

The road is to be closed from 19:00hrs each evening and is to re-open from 06:00hrs each morning.

The C11 service will be permitted through the road closure. Accessible bus stops will be served.

There will be slight delays to service, as the bus will require an escort through controlled works area.

High Street, Brentwood is closed for emergency roadworks, due to a burst water main, from Tuesday 4th March to Friday 21st March 2025.

Due to the location of the road closure, the 37 and 351 services will divert in both directions via Weald Road, Western Road and William Hunter Way - the 351 service will also divert via Ongar Road.
