Whatcombe Road, Frome - CLOSURE - (D2)
Whatcombe Road in Frome will be closed to service D2 between 16:00 and 19:00 (three hours) on Saturday 17th August to facilitate a street party.
Services will be diverted via Vallis Road and Christchurch Street West to serve the Market Place bus stop in the correct direction.

A36, Limpley Stoke - CLOSURE - (D2x)
Long term closure of the A36 at Limpley Stoke
From Monday 12th August, the A36 at Limpley Stoke will be closed until Spring 2025 while repairs to the road take place. Service D2x will be unable to use the A36, and due to the low bridge at Midford, double deck buses cannot use the B3110.
Instead, the D2x will operate after Frome Market Place via Welshmill Road, Welshmill Lane, Whatcombe Road, Buckland Dinham, Radstock, Peasedown St John (serving Orchard Way) and Dunkerton to and from Bath. Journey times have been revised, but the duration is similar to before.
The new timetable and route map for the D2/D2x from 12th August 2024 can be seen attached below.
Clink, Beckington, Woolverton, the A36, Limpley Stoke, Bathampton and the Grand Parade area of Bath City Centre will not be served by the D2x.
The D2 will be unchanged and continue to operate its usual route - however please be aware that there is a timetable change due from 1st September as part of our service changes, please click here for more information.
Street Road, Compton Durdon - CLOSURE - (77 & 77a)
Street Road in Compton Dundon (B3151) will be closed to services 77 and 77a between 09:30 and 15:30 from Monday 12th through to Friday 16th August to facilitate carriageway works.
Services will be diverted via Reynalds way and the B3153 to resume in both directions.
Regretfully no bus stops will be served between the junction of Reynalds way and Littleton Hill will be served and passengers are advised to board or alight at the Marshalls Elm, Collards Hill bus stops just prior to Reynalds Way or the Somerton Lynch House bus stops on the B3153 or the Somerton Dower bus stops on the B3151.

URGENT UPDATE - Crookes Lane, Kewstoke - CLOSURE - (1)
Crookes Lane in Kewstoke will be closed to service 1 between 09:00 and 15:00 on Tuesday 13th August to facilitate carriageway works.
Please note the service 1 will no longer need to be suspended during this closure period and will instead operate the diversion as below.

Services heading towards Sand Bay will be diverted via Kewside, Lower Norton Lane and Sand Road to terminus.
Regretfully the bus stops Lower Norton Lane, Hazelwood Caravan Park and Crookes Lane will not be served and passengers are advised to alight at Owls Crest or the terminus.
Service 1 heading towards Weston will operate the full length of Beach Road, onto Kewstoke Road and Crookes Lane (part unaffected), Kewside and Lower Norton Lane and turn left into Crookes Lane to resume normal route.
Regretfully the Clyntonville, Hazelwood Caravan Park and Lower Norton Lane bus stops will not be served and passengers are advised to board at either Stratton Lane bus stop on Beach Road or the temporary bus stop which is positioned on a lamp post column at the end of Lower Norton Lane alongside the park.

Silver Street, Nailsea - CLOSURE - (X7)
Silver Street in Nailsea will be closed to service X7 between 08:00 and 17:00 from Monday 5th through to Friday 23rd August (excluding weekends) to facilitate carriageway works.
Service X7 heading towards Clevedon will operate normal route to the junction of Stock Way North and Clevedon Road, then turn right into Clevedon Road to resume normal route at the junction of Pound Lane.
Service X7 heading towards Bristol will operate the reverse of the above.
Regretfully the bus stops between and including Christ Church on Silver Street and Ravenswood School on Pound Lane will not be served and passengers are advised to board or alight at either the Southfield Road bus stops on Clevedon Road (diversion route) or the Stock Way North bus stop heading towards Clevedon or the Link Road bus stop heading towards Bristol.

UPDATE - Station Road, New Cheltenham - CLOSURE - (7)
UPDATE - 09:30 Tuesday 13th August - New start time, please see below.
The full length of Station Road in New Cheltenham will be closed overnight to service 7 between 19:30 and 06:00 from Tuesday 13th through to Wednesday 21st August (excluding weekends) to facilitate resurfacing works.
Service 7 heading towards Staple HIll after serving the Siston Common Roundabout bus stop on Anchor Road will be diverted via Pound Road and Pool Road to resume normal route at Morley Road,
Service 7 heading towards Broad Quay will operate the reverse of the above.
Regretfully all bus stops between and including Chiphouse Road on Station Road and Gloucester Road bus stops on Stanley Park Road will not be served and passengers are advised to board or alight at either Siston Common Roundabout bus stops on Anchor Road or the Morley Road bus stops for either directions. additionally all the bus stops on Pound Road and Pool Road will also be observed.

Service changes in the West of England from 1 September 2024
The below changes, which will see improvements to the overall bus network in the West of England, are part of a bi-annual review of routes, and will come into effect from Sunday 1 September.
For a number of services, the timetable & route will not change - please refer to the unaffected routes drop-down list in each area for these services.
The new timetables are available to view on our Forthcoming Timetables page. New print at home route maps & timetables will be added under each service over the coming weeks.

Windmill Hill, Glastonbury - 374, 375
Due to overhanging low trees, services 374 and 375 are unable to serve Windmill Hill in Glastonbury until further notice.
Buses will stay on the Wells Road the same as the 376 instead.

South Road in Weston-super-Mare is currently closed to service 5 and will remain fully closed until 17:00 Wednesday 16th October to facilitate carriageway works.
Service 5 will be diverted from the end of St Josephs Road via Upper Church Road, Lower Church Road, Knightstone Road and Highbury Road to resume normal route at Atlantic Road.
Regretfully the bus stops between and including Upper Church Road and Court Apartments on South Road will not be served and passengers are advised to board or alight at either the All Saints Church bus stop on St Josephs Road or the Highbury Road bus stop on Atlantic Road.

** UPDATED ** - Hutton Village - EMERGENCY CLOSURE - (126)
Hutton Hill in the village of Hutton is currently closed to service 126 until further notice due to a landslide. The closure is for unknown duration and when details of re-opening have been confirmed the web page will be updated.
Service 126 heading towards Wells will divert via Moor Lane, Moor Croft Road and Vereland Road, resuming normal route at Hutton Hill (Part unaffected). The only bus stop missed out fully will be the Primary School stop, however for customers travelling towards Wells, at the bus stops along the diversion route you will need to wait for the bus on the opposite side of the road to normal.
Service 126 heading towards Weston is unaffected and will follow normal route.
