New express D1x service

From Monday 8 April, we're launching the new D1x service offering an express, more direct route between Trowbridge, Bradford-on-Avon and Bath. When combined with the existing D1 service, there will now be 2 buses per hour in Mon-Fri daytime which is double the current frequency. There will also be double deckers on this route which will further improve capacity.

You can travel this route for just £2 with a West of England single ticket!

Discover the Roman Baths

If you're more into learning than bathing, discover the history of the Roman Baths. Dating back to 70 AD, the meticulously well-preserved baths offer visitors a captivating glimpse into the lives of Romans who once went about their daily lives in Bath.

Wander the intricate network of chambers, pools and streams all leading to the Great Bath at the centre. There is a museum too to discover artefacts found on the site.


Visit Bradford-on-Avon

Bradford-on-Avon is the perfect example of a typical Wiltshire town. It is well worth a day out, for it's winding streets full of historic buildings, quirky shops and cute cottages. Whilst you're there make sure to explore the 14th century Tithe Barn, and the ruins of an old Saxon church! There's also many canal-side pub gardens to relax and enjoy a drink in the sunshine.
