Service Changes during January 2024

A number of service changes will occur on part of our network during January 2024. Most services are unchanged so if your service isn't listed below, it will continue on the same timetable as now.

North Somerset area

From Tuesday 2 January 2024

9 Weston-super-Mare - Worlebury - Worle - West Wick

New service running during the off-peak on weekdays, linking many areas to local facilities.

10 Weston-super-Mare - Hutton

This service will be replaced by new service 126 (see below) with buses running during more of the day than now. The last day of service 10 will be Friday 29 December 2023.

126 Weston-super-Mare - Axbridge - Cheddar - Wells

We will operate service 126 from 2nd January. This follows a tendering process by Somerset Council and North Somerset Council, for more information please click here.

The 126 will operate from Weston-super-Mare Railway Station via the Interchange, seafront, Uphill, General Hospital and Hutton to Banwell, then link Sandford, Axbridge, Cheddar, Draycott, Westbury-sub-Mendip and Easton to and from Wells. Journeys at school times will additionally serve Wells Blue School.

127 Wrington - Churchill Academy

This is a new school service between Wrington and Churchill Academy via Langford.

From Sunday 7 January 2024

Services 7 (Weston-super-Mare), X1, X4, X6, X7, X8 and X9 will have revised timetables to improve punctuality.

There won't be any changes to the routings of the services.

For the new service 7 timetable, click here. This service will be increased on Sundays to run every 30 minutes rather than hourly.

South Gloucestershire area

From Tuesday 2 January 2024

Y6 Bristol - Southmead Hospital - Cribbs Causeway - Yate - Chipping Sodbury

At school times on weekdays, one journey each way will now operate through more of Coalpit Heath, serving the Heather Avenue and St Saviour's Church area.

From Wednesday 3 January 2024

Long term diversion - 75 Hengrove - Withywood - Bristol City Centre - Gloucester Road - Cribbs Causeway

Due to works to fill in the underpass at Coniston Road Shops, the 75 will be diverted at Patchway from 3 January, for around 5-6 months. For more information, please see our Current Issues page here. Coniston Road - Patchway (75).

From Sunday 28 January 2024

70 Hengrove - Melvin Square - Bristol City Centre - Ashley Down Road - UWE Frenchay

Following the completion of works at Muller Road and re-opening of Ralph Road, and postponement of final finishing works, service 70 will revert to its normal route via Ralph Road and Muller Road (instead of the top of Ashley Down Road and Gloucester Road) from Sunday 28 January 2024. The timetable will be revised to account for the journey time difference.
