Roadworks at The Globe Roundabout, Newton St Loe

From Friday evening 25th October until Sunday 3rd November, the roundabout at The Globe in Newton St Loe will be under temporary traffic light control for roadworks. 

Significant disruption is expected on services 39, X39 (Bath - Bristol) and U5 (Bath - Bath Spa University). Please allow more time to make your journey.

Apologies for the inconvenience this will cause.

At at 13.30 on Saturday 26th November, buses are suffering delays of up to 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Due to Safety works near the park and ride site in Lyde Green buses will have to divert to use the Ring Road and the Science Park area travelling to the Folly roundabout and back to the ring road.

The middle sections North and south of the Great Stoke Way roundabout will be closed for Ducting works from Monday 28th of October and will stay closed until 06:00 o the morning of the 3rd of November.

There will be no stops missed during this closure but passengers are advised this potentially could add more time to journeys.

From 9am Saturday the 26th of October, emergency gas works near the railway bridge at Stallard St in Trowbridge will mean buses will have to divert to use Newtown, Mortimer Street and County Way.

Due to the nature of the works it means this is a continual closure that is anticipated to last for up to 5 days.

Due to continued roadworks happening at Bradley Road there are 2 night closures in place for Friday 25th and Monday 28th of October.

Service D1 will divert from College Rd stop to head West along Silver Street Lane, south on Frome Road then East along Wynsome St to resume Westbury road.

This diversion will be in both directions during the closure.

Road Closure, Air Balloon Road

Service (44/45)

Due to planned roadworks Air Balloon Road will be closed to vehicles from Monday 28th October at 09:30 and remain closed until 15:30 on the 22nd of November.

Service 44 and 45 will be diverting from St George fountains to use Clouds Hill Road and the Kingsway in Both Directions.

Please note: Drivers will be stopping on the Kingsway for any passengers needing to board or alight.

Road Closures Warminster (D1)

The Centre of Warminster will be closed and as such Boreham Rd will also close to buses.

From 16:00 until 18:00 The D1 service wil wait time out at Market place heading to Bath.

From 18:00 until 22:00, Due to the closure of Market Place from these times, service D1 will wait time and collect from ~Rail Station Forecourt- it is noted that the return journeys will proceed via Fairfield Road, Copheap Lane onto Westbury Road.

Regrettably, Esso Garage,Lyons Seafoods, Woodcock Industrial Estate, Princess Gardens,The Dene, St Georges Close, Smallbrook Lane, Bradfield Close and Highbury Park will not be served during the full closure.

Market place will close from 18:00 and passengers are advised to to use the rail station forecourt to board.

Cancelled - Bristol Bus Station Night Closures

 Following negotiations with contractors, who are working on our electrification programme, we have been able to minimise the disruption to Bristol Bus Station, which will be open as usual from today. Please note we will now not be closing the station over the following two nights – bus services will operate as normal.
