Due to emergency works, London Road East near the junction of Morris Lane has been closed and as such service D1x will divert to stay on the By-pass in Both directions.

Service 3 is to operate normal route from Weston to Stambridge and then spin at the Stambridge roundabout back towards Bath. Buses are to then operate via Batheaston Bypass towards Bathford. On journeys towards Weston /City Centre Batheaston will not be served.

Passengers may remain on the bus at Bathford terminus for travel towards Weston.

Please board the bus towards Bathford for travel to City Centre / Weston.

Regrettably Bailbrook House, Clarence Gardens, Bailbrook Lane, Vale View Terrace, Stambridge and Morris Lane bus stops will not be served for service D1x during the closure period.

Due to roadworks as part of the council active travel scheme, Bradley Stoke Way northbound will be closed to traffic and as such services m1 towards Cribbs Causeway and T1 towards Thornbury will be diverted to use Winterbourne Road, Orpheus Avenue and Baileys Court Road to resume normal route at Great Meadow Roundabout. Please expect some delays.

The Great Meadow stop will not be able to be served, but buses will instead serve the Great Meadow Roundabout stop on Baileys Court Road. No other bus stops on the diversion will be served.

Buses on the m1 towards Hengrove Park and T1 towards Bristol City Centre will not be affected.

Service 45 will continue to divert from Woodward Drive onto Shellards Road (part) into California Road and the service 17 will stay on Bath Road to use Marsham Way in Both Directions.

Regrettably Shellards Road and Watsons Road bus stops will not be served for the service 45 and additionally Shellards Road, Parkwall Road, Tapsters and Stourton Drive bus stops for the service 17 will not be served during the closure period.

Road Closure-A38 Alveston Hill, Church Road, Hortham Lane

Due to Travel improvement works the A38 will be closed overnight for the next 3 weeks (Monday to Friday only) meaning the service T1 Will divert away from the A38 at Almondsbury and Rock St in Thornbury to use the M5 motorway in Both Directions during the closure period.

From the 7th April until the 12th April works will be carried out at Alveston Hill

From the 14th April until the 19th April works will be carried out at Church Road

From the 21st of April until the 26th of April works will be carried out at Hortham Lane

Buses leaving Bristol centre to Thornbury from 19:40 onwards will be diverted as such the first bus leaving Thornbury to Bristol at 05:07 also being diverted.

Passengers are also advised that due to the length of this diversion there will be some disruption and are to check before travel.

Due to long term road works of three weeks at Milsom Street, buses will be diverted.

Due to the location of the works services 6/6a and 7 heading toward Grand Parade will divert from the bottom of Lansdown Road to use Walcot Street coming down towards Grand Parade to their normal route. The service 31 will divert to George Street and turn at Queens Square. Buses back to Lansdown Park & Ride will also pick up here.

Due to ongoing travel improvement along the Victoria Street corridor, Victoria Street will be closed in the northbound direction (towards the city centre) from 31st March 2025. Temple Meads Station stop T7 at the end of Victoria Street will be closed.

Routes 1 and 2 towards Cribbs Causeway, 2a towards Brentry and 72 towards UWE Frenchay will instead stop at Temple Meads Station stop T2 on the main road (Temple Gate), and then divert via Temple Way and Counterslip to resume their normal route at Bristol Bridge. Buses will additionally serve stop T8 on Temple Way.

Routes 39/X39, 172, 349, 374, 375, 376, 376a and 522 will stop at Temple Meads Station stop T2 as normal, and then divert via Temple Way and Counterslip to resume their normal route at Bristol Bridge. These routes will also additionally stop at Temple Way stop T8 on the diversion.

Southbound buses, travelling from the city centre towards Temple Meads Station, will not be affected and will operate their normal route.
