Ralph Road will be closed from Monday 28th of October for approximately 8 weeks until the 20th of December for road improvement works.

Service 70 will be diverted to stay on Ashley down Road and Gloucester Road and Filton Avenue. This diversion will be in reverse for services travelling to the city centre.

Regrettably Muller Road, Downend Road and Filton Avenue stops will not be served during this closure.

Roadworks at The Globe Roundabout, Newton St Loe

From Friday evening 25th October until Sunday 3rd November, the roundabout at The Globe in Newton St Loe will be under temporary traffic light control for roadworks. 

Significant disruption is expected on services 39, X39 (Bath - Bristol) and U5 (Bath - Bath Spa University). Please allow more time to make your journey. As at Monday 28th October, we have been seeing delays of 60-90 minutes at peak periods.

Due to this, there are knock on effects to other services in Bath as our drivers are being delayed and unable to board their subsequent buses on time.

The middle sections North and south of the Great Stoke Way roundabout will be closed for Ducting works from Monday 28th of October and will stay closed until 06:00 o the morning of the 3rd of November.

There will be no stops missed during this closure but passengers are advised this potentially could add more time to journeys.

From 9am Saturday the 26th of October, emergency gas works near the railway bridge at Stallard St in Trowbridge will mean buses will have to divert to use Newtown, Mortimer Street and County Way.

Due to the nature of the works it means this is a continual closure that is anticipated to last for up to 5 days.

Due to continued roadworks happening at Bradley Road there are 2 night closures in place for Friday 25th and Monday 28th of October.

Service D1 will divert from College Rd stop to head West along Silver Street Lane, south on Frome Road then East along Wynsome St to resume Westbury road.

This diversion will be in both directions during the closure.

Due to planned roadworks Air Balloon Road will be closed to vehicles from Monday 28th October at 09:30 and remain closed until 15:30 on the 22nd of November.

Service 44 and 45 will be diverting from St George fountains to use Clouds Hill Road and the Kingsway in Both Directions.

Please note: Drivers will be stopping on the Kingsway for any passengers needing to board or alight.

Regrettably Harcourt Avenue, Troopers Hill Road, Marlin Road, The Avenue and Glebe Road stops will not be served during the closure.

Service 20 will terminate short at Berrow Road missing out its route into Burnham.
