Due to essential patching works West Town Lane will be closed Westbound near the imperial sports ground between 7am and 12:30.

Passengers are advised the bus will divert to West Town Lane North and South into Callington Road where service 2 will resume service at the bottom of Wells Road/Red Lion Hill.

Multiple roads in Bridgwater town will be closed to traffic to facilitate the annual carnival event and as such service 375 will be terminating at, and starting from, Bridgwater Community Hospital. The section of route along Whitfield Road, Eastern Avenue, Westonzoyland Road to and from the town centre and bus station inclusive will not be able to be served.

This will affect the 16:28 and 18:38 departures from Bridgwater, which will instead start from Bridgwater Community Hospital at the usual times there of 16:40 and 18:49.

Service X5 timetable change:

Due to Gordano School in Portishead changing their start/finish time, the 0710 Mon-Fri journey from Weston will now depart at 0700, the 1415 Mon-Fri journey from Weston will only operate as far as Sainsbury's and no longer serve Sheepway, and the 1605 Mon-Fri journey from Portishead will now depart at 1550.

Emergency Road Closure-31.10.24-Broomhill,Stapleton-(46)

Due to emergency water mains works Broomhill in Stapleton will be fully closed from 9:30 Thursday 31st until 5pm on Friday the 1st of November.

Service 46 will divert from Glen Park towards M32 to use Stapleton Village and stay on the main road towards UWE.

The return journey into Bristol will be the same but resume normal route at Robertson Rd.

Road Closures- Weston Super Mare-Central-(all Services)

Centre road closures will be in place for the evening due to the annual carnival procession from 17:30 however there may be additional disruption in the afternoon from 14:30 due to the nature of the event.

That said please note: 

Service A3 - Are to terminate and commence all trips from Weston Interchange, and will not enter the railway station.

Service 1 - Via Oxford Street, Station Road, Francis Fox Road, Weston Interchange and will not enter the railway station.

From 17:30 -  All services will divert away from the interchange and use Drove road and Winterstoke road corridors where they will terminate and resume at Winterstoke road.

Regrettably Weston service 5 will not operate the final two journeys at 17:45 and 18:40, this is due to roadworks already on the route further along, and the impact this closure will have on the journey (please seek alternative arrangements if you are to need this service)

All bus stops west of Locking road/Drove Road area inside  the centre seafront zone of Weston will not be served during the closure. 

Post office stop on Locking Road, (east of Drove road), Winterstoke road stops and the Gas works stop (Drove road) will be the next available stops away from the closures.
