Due to continued improvement works in the Bradley Stoke area, Bradley Stoke Way will be closed to all traffic in both directions for 3 nights this week..

Passengers are advised that there will be no stops missed on this Southbound diversion but it may add some disruption to journeys due to added time.

Due to water works the small section of Filton Avenue near the football stadium will close continually for the above times and as such buses will divert to use Gloucester Road and Muller Road in both directions with service 77 continuing along Horfield Common to use Dorian Road to Southmead Hospital to turn, come back and access Muller Road Top terminus.

Regrettably Memorial Stadium and Filton Avenue (B) bus stops for services 72,73,74 will not be served and Memorial Stadium, Filton Avenue (B), and Filton Avenue bus stop on Muller Road for service 77 will not be served during the closure period.

These works have been extended from the original date of completion(2nd May 2025)

Due to roadworks as part of the council active travel scheme, Bradley Stoke Way northbound will be closed to traffic and as such services m1 towards Cribbs Causeway and T1 towards Thornbury will be diverted to use Winterbourne Road, Orpheus Avenue and Baileys Court Road to resume normal route at Great Meadow Roundabout. Please expect some delays.

The Great Meadow stop will not be able to be served, but buses will instead serve the Great Meadow Roundabout stop on Baileys Court Road. No other bus stops on the diversion will be served.

Buses on the m1 towards Hengrove Park and T1 towards Bristol City Centre will not be affected.

Cheltenham Road Northbound only towards Horfield between Zetland Road and Ashley Down Road will be closed and as such buses will divert in a northerly direction to use City Road, Sussex Place, Ashley Hill to Ashley Down Road to Gloucester Road.

Regretfully Nine Tree Hill, Montpellier High School, Zetland Road, Sommerville Road, Hatherly Road and Nevile Road bus stops will not be served during the closure period. All bus stops on the diversion route will also be observed.

Road Closure-A38 Alveston Hill, Church Road, Hortham Lane

Due to Travel improvement works the A38 will be closed overnight for the next 3 weeks (Monday to Friday only) meaning the service T1 Will divert away from the A38 at Almondsbury and Rock St in Thornbury to use the M5 motorway in Both Directions during the closure period.

From the 7th April until the 12th April works will be carried out at Alveston Hill

From the 14th April until the 19th April works will be carried out at Church Road

From the 21st of April until the 26th of April works will be carried out at Hortham Lane

Buses leaving Bristol centre to Thornbury from 19:40 onwards will be diverted as such the first bus leaving Thornbury to Bristol at 05:07 also being diverted.

Passengers are also advised that due to the length of this diversion there will be some disruption and are to check before travel.

Regrettably Almondsbury Depot, The Swan, Florence Park, Hortham Lane, Fernhill, Abbotswood, Washingpool Hill, Church Road, The Masons Arms, Alveston Church, Davids Lane, The Ship and The Leisure Centre bus stops will not be served during the closure period.
