Redfield Road in Midsomer Norton will be closed to services 172, 173 and 522 from 07:00 on Wednesday 14th and will remain fully closed until 18:00 on Thursday 15th February to facilitate carriageway works.

All services will be diverted via North Road and Church Lane in both directions. 

Regretfully the Paulton Road and Somervale School bus stops in Redfield Road for service 173 will not be served and passengers are advised to board or alight at the Town Hall bus stop or Kings Arms bus stop on Chilcompton Road for travel in either direction.

Regretfully the Orchard Avenue, Pinewood Road on Paulton Road, and the Paulton Road and Somervale School bus stops in Redfield Road for services 172 and 522 will not be served and passengers are advised to board or alight at the Town Hall bus stop or Hayes Park Road bus stop on Paulton Road for travel in either direction.

Due to carriageway works Broadwalk will be closed daily to service 73 which will use Wells Road and Airport Road Toward Hengrove and Hengrove Way and Wells Road towards Bristol due to no right turn at Cadogan Road.

The Works on Morley Road have been extended due to complications with the job and is now expected to finnish on the 20th of December.

Due to continued deterioration of the road near the Science Park area in Lyde Green, the road will be closed for carriageway works at a date to be announced.

Buses on the m3 and m3x will divert in both directions via Jenner Boulevard.

This diversion will add a few minutes extra onto journeys, but buses will not miss any stops out from the route.

Due to the annual Christmas Market taking place in the centre of Bath this year various roads will be closed to traffic and buses will be diverted.

Due to the location of the market the service 6/6a and 7 will be using Wallcot Street turning at Grand Parade and the service 31 will divert to George Street and turn at Queens Square.

Filton Avenue will be closed at the junction of Station Road (A4174) for the weekend of the 23rd November.

Sadly there will be no access to and from Filton Avenue and a diversion to use Wessex Avenue, Filton Road and Station Road in both directions will be in place.

We expect the roads to be fairly busy due to other roadworks in the area so advice to plan accordingly should be heeded.

Bus stop change - service 24, Bristol City Centre

From Sunday 17th November 2024, buses on service 24 towards Southmead Hospital will use Queen Square bus stop Q2 on Prince Street. This is instead of stop C13 on Baldwin Street, which the 24 will no longer stop at. 

The 24 will continue to stop at stop R11 further along Baldwin Street; this is the stop common to all Stapleton Road services 24, 46, 48, 49 and 50.

There will be no changes to any other stops or the timetable.
