Service changes header

The below changes to the bus network in Worcester will come into effect from Sunday 1 September.

Service 28 from Worcester to Baynham Estate will benefit from additional journeys, now running hourly Monday to Saturday.

New service X28 will replace service 45 as a direct link from Worcester City Centre to Sixth Form College.

Service 30 from Worcester to Dines Green will benefit from increased frequencies across the week. Improved frequency at peak times on weekdays to every 15 mins in morning peak, every 10 mins in the afternoon peak, every 12 mins on Saturdays and every 20 mins on Sundays.

Service 31 31A from Worcester to Henwick Park will benefit from punctuality changes, we’ll run a few more journeys in the early morning and evening on Monday to Fridays too. Unfortunately, due to low usage we’ve needed to take the difficult decision to withdraw our U1 service form Worcester to University. A link is still retained on our half hourly 31/31A service.

Service 32 from Worcester to St Peters will have a revised route around St Peters estate. Buses will now run an anti-clockwise one-way loop, running via Worcester Road (A38), Broomhall Way (A440) and St Peter’s Drive. 332 will run at revised times to improve punctuality and to better coordinate with the 32.

Service 34 from Worcester to Shire Park will benefit from punctuality changes. Due to low usage some early morning journeys will be withdrawn.

Service 35 from Worcester to Blackpole will benefit from punctuality changes and additional journeys on Saturday evenings. There will be an extra morning journey on the 35A, Monday to Friday to coincide with morning shift changes at Shire Park.

Service 36 from Worcester to Royal Hospital will benefit from punctuality changes, which aim to significantly improve reliability particularly on Saturdays.

Service 38 from Worcester to Royal Hospital will benefit from a new hourly Sunday service.

Additional trips will now run express as X38 at peak times and we’ll now be running even later on Mondays to Saturdays.

Service 44 from Worcester to Great Malvern will benefit from punctuality changes. School service S44 will be withdrawn and replaced with a service 44 which will divert on schooldays to Chase High School, this journey will be run with a double decker to ensure sufficient capacity.

We’re introducing an additional evening departure from Worcester, departing at 18:25 and returning at 19:05 from Great Malvern.

To speed up journeys into Worcester buses will no longer divert via Newland Stocks Lane.

Service X50 Worcester to Evesham will see significant punctuality improvements, with buses given more time to complete their journeys as well as additional weekend journeys. To speed journeys up we will no longer take the diversion off the main road (B4084) to serve Stoulton Fusion. 

Service S51 from Worcester to Pershore College will now become service 50. This route will now call at County Hall/Sixth Form in both directions, additionally serve Worcester Parkway Station to enhance peak time connections and no longer serve Stoulton Fusion.

Service 51 from Worcester to Pershore will have punctuality improvements and will now additionally serve Worcester Parkway Station to enhance peak time connections.

Service 144 from Worcester to Catshill will benefit from punctuality improvements and additional journeys into Worcester on Monday - Friday mornings.

We'll be running additional journeys on Monday to Saturday evenings from Catshill to Worcester.

Service 363 Worcester to Upton-upon-Severn and Ryall will now have an additional trip in each direction operating Monday to Fridays. The afternoon trip from Worcester and return will now also additionally run during school holidays.

The 54 will have changes to improve punctuality. This service will no longer serve Birlingham village so customers are advised to catch this service on Eckington Road.

School service 333 from Worcester to Hanley Castle School will run a slightly different route from Norton Barracks to Kempsey, now running via Broomhall Way (A440) not Brookend Lane. One trip to Upton/Chase High School has moved to new service 334.

New service 334 from Worcester to Chase High School is formed from trips on current 333 and 365 which split at Upton. We’ve given this route it’s own number to make our network simpler and easier to understand.

Working with Blessed Edward School we’re introducing a re-casted network of dedicated school services.

Service 32S is withdrawn and replaced by new S6.
