Services to divert via:
INBOUND 51 service will operate as normal to the Children's Hospital then divert down Western Bank to Brook Hill roundabout, Upper Hanover Way, Moore Street, Charter Road, Furnival Street then turn at Furnival Square roundabout.
INBOUND 52A service will operate as normal to the Children's Hospital then divert down Western Bank to Brook Hill roundabout, Upper Hanover Way, St Mary’s Gate, St Mary’s Roundabout, Eyre Street & Furnival Square roundabout.
INBOUND 95, 95A, 95B & 95S services will operate as normal to Brook Hill roundabout then divert via Upper Hanover Street, St Mary’s Gate, St Mary’s Roundabout, Eyre Street and Furnival Square before resuming normal route on Furnival Street.
INBOUND 120 & 120K services will operate as normal to the Royal Hallamshire Hospital then divert up Clarkson Street down Western Bank to Brook Hill roundabout, Upper Hanover Way, St Mary’s Gate, St Mary’s Roundabout, Eyre Street & Furnival Square roundabout.

75/75a/83/785 - Nottingham Street
Unannounced Yorkshire Water have blocked Nottingham Street.
Services are to divert onto Pittsmore Road in both directions.
Works will be completed by Friday 20th September.
Service 73 & 95 - Sheffield Lane, Catcliffe closure
73 & 95 Services – Until further notice
Unannounced road works by Idego have closed Sheffield Lane, Catcliffe.
INBOUND services (from Rortherham) are diverted via Highfield Lane & Poplar Way (same as the outbound route).
Works are due for completion by Friday 20th September.
82 Service - Hall Park Hill
Hall Park Hill will be closed daily for road works from Wednesday 28th August (0700-1900) for six days.
When closure comes into effect, services will divert to the Nethergate terminus during these times.
56 Service – Manor Oaks Place
Manor Oaks Place has been closed for unannounced resurfacing works impacting services in both directions until further notice.
56 Services to divert via Manor Oaks Road, Whites Lane, Maltravers Road, Maltravers Terrace & back onto Manor Oaks Road.
381 & 382 - Thorne Road
Monday 26th August to Friday 31st August 2024 09:30 to 20:00 each day
Thorne Road will be closed at the junction with Wentworth Road.
381 & 382 services will operate from Hall Gate via East Laith Gate, Market Road, Wheatley Hall Road, Wentworth Road to resume normal route at the hospital in both directions.
381/382 Thorne Rd closures Mon-Fri
From Monday 26th August - Friday 31st August 0930 - 2000 each day, Thorne Rd will be closed at the Junction with Wentworth Rd.
381 & 382 services will operate from Hall gate via East Laith Gate, Market Rd, Wheatley Hall Rd, Wentworth Rd to resume normal route at the hospital.
This will be in both directions.
384/387/388 Thorne Rd Closure
From Monday 26th August to Friday 31st August 0930 to 2000 each day THorne Rd will be closed at the junction with Wentworth Rd.
Outbound services will operate via Town Moor Ave. Sandringham Rd services will turn left at the roundabout onto Armthorpe Rd, then right at the end of the park onto Armthorpe Lane then right onto Throne Rd to resume normal route.
This will be in both directions.
September service changes

From 1 September, we will be introducing several service changes across South Yorkshire - increasing reliability and connecting more areas across the region.
Following on from our customer consultation period, we have made amendments to our initial proposed changes, as you as passengers are at the heart of everything we do at First Bus, and we want to keep providing a service you can rely on throughout South Yorkshire.

Sheffield changes:

One bus per hour will operate to Dyke Vale Road, instead of Birley Tram stop. Both routes will continue to operate every 30 minutes between Ecclesfield and Thornbridge Drive. Sunday daytime service on service 8 will be increased to operate hourly. |

Service 11 will no longer operate. Herdings will now be served by 47/48. All journeys on services 47/48 will operate via East Bank Rd. Heeley Green will be served by services 18 and 252 (TM Travel service) - providing a co-ordinated 15-minute service. Service 18 will be increased in frequency to operate every 30 mins between City, Heeley Green and Norton Lees. Between Meadowhall and Firth Park Margate Drive will no longer be served. Service 18a will continue to serve Margate Drive and a revised timetable will be introduced to provide a combined hourly service between City and Heeley Green, during the evenings and all-day Sunday. |

These new services will operate from Shiregreen, serving Gregg House Rd, Hartley Brook Rd and Sicey Ave - via Firth Park, Firth Park Rd, Firvale, Burngreave, City Centre East Bank Rd, Newfield Green, Hemsworth and Herdings. From Newfield Green service 47 will operate via Gleadless Rd, Leighton Rd, Raeburn Rd, Constable Rd, and Blackstock Rd. Service 48 will operate in the opposite direction via Blackstock Rd, Constable Rd, Raeburn Rd, Leighton Rd, Gleadless Rd. The combined frequency will be every 10 minutes during the daytime. 272 and 772 revised timetable from 17 June
*ROUTE NOW BACK TO NORMAL!
From 17 June until 13 September the road to Brough will be closed to enable repairs to a wall, this means our service 272 will not be able to serve Bradwell during the closure. An alternative timetable will be in operation during this period.
Our 772 service to Hope Valley College will also be affected during this time period, and will operate via Tideswell crossroads, following a revised timetable.
