E2 - Brockhurst Road, Gosport​

Brockhurst Road, Gosport​ closed

Wednesday 13th November for 3 Nights 2000 – 0600​

Due To Resurfacing Works on Brockhurst Road at the junction of Eastbrook Close the road will be closed to Traffic.​

​Services E2 towards Gosport​

Services are to divert like a service E1 to and from Fort Brockhurst heading to and from Gosport via Elson Road, St Thomas’s road, Grove road, The Crossways and when you get to the traffic lights at the Crossway turn RIGHT onto Forton road and LEFT onto Anns Hill road where you will be back onto normal route.​

​Services E2 towards Fareham​

Services are on normal route until the end of Anns Hill road and turn RIGHT onto Forton road and at the next set of traffic lights turn LEFT onto The Crossway and are then to divert to Fort Brockhurst like a service E1 via The Crossways, Grove road, St Thomas’s road and Elson road and when you get to Fort Brockhurst you will be back onto normal route.

Route Diversions, Routes 5 and 9/9A.
Gosport Half Marathon. Browndown Road, Lee on Solent and Stubbington areas.
Sunday 17th November 0830 – 1400*
 
Due to the Gosport Half Marathon event, routes 5 and 9/9A will be on diversion.
During the event times, the above routes will not be able to serve:

Route 5 From Browndown Road Kingfisher Caravan Park, Lee on Solent Seafront to Stubbington Village, including Cherque Farm Area.

Alternative stops Stubbington Village or Stokes Bay Home Park.

Routes 9/9A will not serve Browndown Road Kingfisher Caravan Park.

Alternative stops at Bay House School or Grange Road.

These diversions will be in both directions.

Temporary Stop Closure, Swanwick Shore Road. Routes X4 and X5.
0935 Tuesday 12th until 1800 Wednesday 13th November.

THIS EXTRA DIVERSION HAS NOW BEEN MOVED TO LATER IN DECEMBER. updated 13.11.24

In addition to the diversion of the service 8 in Clanfield we have been informed of an additional closure. Where the Service 8 diverts around Clanfield, one of these roads will now be closed (Chalton Lane) between the 13th and 15th November. Service 8 will now, NOT be able to serve Clanfield to turn around. All service 8 journeys will start and finish at Horndean village. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused during these works which are out of our control. As soon as the roads are open we will return to Clanfield Village.

Festing Road is closed until further notice from the 11th of November until the 31st of December due to ongoing road works. The following diversions are in place:

Services 1 towards South Parade Pier​:

Diverting via Eastney Road, Cromwell Road, St Georges Road and Eastern Parade back onto the normal route. TEMPORARY STOP IN CROMWELL ROAD

Services 1 towards Milton Park​:

Diverting after serving Canoe Lake Bus Stop, via Eastern Parade, St Georges Road, Cromwell Road and Eastney Road back onto the normal route.​ TEMPORARY STOP IN CROMWELL ROAD

Temporary Stop Closures Wickham. Route 20.
Saturday 16th November 0700 - 2100

Due to the annual Wickham Christmas Cracker Event, route 20 will terminate at the temporary stop at Hoads Hill roundabout.

Wickham Square, Wickham Railway Bridge and Shell Garage stops will not be severed during this event.

Service 20 - Saturday 16th November

Due to the Wickham Christmas Cracker event in Wickham Square the Service 20 will be terminating at the end of Hoads Hill next to the roundabout. 

Please use the temporary stops provided just south of the roundabout.

Service H1 - Pier Road Closure

Pier Road will be closed for works from 18th November until 23rd November, at all times. Services will be diverted as follows:

Hover Bus towards Gunwharf: Duisberg Way, Western Parade, Bellevue Terrace and then normal route. 

Hover Bus towards Terminal: Bellevue Terrace, Southsea Terrace, Western Parade, Duisberg Way and then normal route.
 

THIS IS JUST A DIVERSION AND NO STOPS WILL BE MISSED.

Services 1 & 2 - Bristol Road (West Bound), Portsmouth Bus Stop Suspension

The above bus stop will be suspended OVERNIGHT ONLY from 8pm to 6am on 13th November for 1 night. Please use an alternative stop during these times.
