Needham Road, Stowmarket will be closed Wednesday 26th October 2022 and Friday 28th October 2022 for drainage investigation works
Service 88 will therefore be diverted via Melford Road and Lavenham Way, in both directions, for the duration of the closure.

Excel A/B/C / Peterborough Rail Station / 18th - 19th of October 2025
Excel A/B/C will not be serving Peterborough Rail Station today, 18th October and tomorrow, 19th October due to rail replacement services using the area.
Customers should use the bus station for their connections.
Wilderness Lane (36A/36B)
Wilderness Lane, Harleston
These works which were originally to be traffic light controlled have been upgraded to a full emergency closure of Wilderness Lane til end of service on 19th Oct.
There are two buses from City (Castle Meadow) at 16.18 – one of these will serve Harleston, the other will be the last bus to serve the villages (terminating at Pulham St Mary).
All other services will be diverted via A140 and A143 to/from Harleston and we will not be able to serve the villages whilst this closure is in place.
Coast Road, Corton (Services 1, 1A)
Coast Road Corton will be closed to all traffic from Monday 20th October 2025 until Sunday 30th November 2025 meaning that our services 1 and 1A will have to follow a diversion route.
Journeys towards Lowestoft will follow their usual route until Potters Resort and then divert via Longfulans Lane to rejoin the A47. They will then follow a diversion route around Corton to ensure that as many stops as possible are served. Journeys in this direction may take slightly longer than usual and passengers are advised to consder this when planning journeys.
Journeys towards Great Yarmouth will serve Corton using the diversion route and then rejoin the A47 towards Hopton. To ensure that Hopton is served all journeys will follow the Lowestoft-bound route towards Potters Resort and then return to the A47 via Longfulans Lane.
Passengers in Hopton wishing to travel towards Great Yarmouth are asked to wait at the stop opposite to the usual one as the bus will be travelling in the opposite direction from usual around Hopton.
Passengers are also advised that the stop on Station Road (behind Asda) will NOT be served for the duration of this closure. Passengers should wait at the nearest stop just past the White Hart Public House.

Fullers Hill, Great Yarmouth (services 1, 1A ,7,8,X1)
Owing to resurfacing work, Fullers Hill, Great Yarmouth will be closed to all traffic from Monday 20th October 2025 to Friday 24th October 2025 from 2000 on each date until 0600 the following mornings.
This will affect services 1, 1A , 7 ,8 and X1, each will follow the diversions detailed below.
Services 1, 8, X1 operating towards Caister/Norwich - These services will operate as usual as far as Regent Street but will then turn on to Howard Street South and then Howard Street North.
These services will then serve the stop opposite the Police Station. Passengers should note that due to the diversion, this will be the only stop served in the town centre.
All services will then operate via the Conge and North Quay. Service X1 will resume usual line of route at the roundabout. Services 1 and 8 will continue along North Quay and Lawn Avenue with service 1 then resuming usual line of route at Caister Road. Service 8 will resume usual line of route at Beaconsfield Road.
Services 1, 1A and 7 towards Great Yarmouth - These services will operate as usual as far as Caister Road and will then divert via Beaconsfield Road, North Denes Road, Nelson Road North, St Nicholas Road, Temple Road to Market Gates.
Service 8 towards Great Yarmouth/Gorleston - This service will operate as usual as far as North Denes Road, Nelson Road North, St Nicholas Road, Temple Road to Market Gates.
Service X1 towards Great Yarmouth - This service will operate as normal to Fullers Hill roundabout, then left onto North Quay, Lawn Avenue, right onto Caister Road, left onto Beaconsfield Road, then North Denes Road, Nelson Road North, St Nicholas Road, Temple Road to Market Gates.
Services 1, 1A, 7 and 8 will serve all bus stops, if requested on the diversion route for the convenience of passengers unable to use the stops on Northgate Street.

Kessingland (service 99)
Church Road, Kessingland will be closed between Monday 6th October 2025 and Friday 24th October 2025 to allow for work associated with the replacement of gas mains.
As a result Service 99 will be unable to serve Church Road, Wash Lane or Field Lane and will instead operate via High Street.
We apologise to all customers affected by this alteration to our service.
Long Stratton (36/36A/36B)
Due to final bypass works taking place between the Long Stratton Bypass north roundabout & Long Stratton itself - the road will be closed from Monday 15th September to Tuesday 21st October.
Services 36/36A/36B from Norwich will join the A140 Long Stratton bypass, to then enter Long Stratton from the south to complete a loop of Swan Lane/Manor Road/Flowerpot Lane to then either head back to Norwich or Harleston.
Services towards Norwich will operate the above diversion in reverse - but will operate the same one-way loop around Long Stratton, so please check destination screens or with the driver to ensure you have boarded the correct bus.
UPDATE 15/09 08:59 - Services 36A/36B will follow the old diversion until end of service on Tuesday 16th September, leaving Stratton towards Harleston via the north & bypass as the switchover has been delayed.
UPDATE 06/10 15:30 - This diversion has been extended until 21st October.
