Advance notice - Run Norwich 10k road race - service changes (all Norwich services)
The annual Run Norwich 10k Road Race will take place this year on Sunday 8th September 2024 and as a result many roads in and around the city centre will be closed to traffic at various times which will cause disruption to all services to and from the city centre.
- The main bus stops in the City Centre at Castle Meadow, Red Lion Street and Theatre Street will not be served until around 13:00.
- Similarly we will be unable to serve stops in Tombland, Anglia Square and Prince of Wales Road until 13:00.
- We will also be unable to serve Norwich Rail Station until around 11:00.
Our services will be taking various diversion routes depending on which roads are closed during the morning and below is a guide to where buses will depart and terminate in the City Centre. All services will allow passengers to board and alight at all stops on the diversion route.
Some roads may reopen slightly ahead of schedule but to ensure that our passengers know where buses will be leaving from, we will be operating these diversions until the times stated.
In addition to these changes we anticipate some delays to services due to general traffic congestion caused by the road closures. We would advise passengers to allow extra time to make your journey.
