Several roads in Attleborough have been closed with immediate effect from Monday evening (17th July 2023) due to a sinkhole in the highway in the area around Connaught Road, Attleborough. Our Turquoise line services have limited opportunities to divert due to work on slip roads off the A11 in unrelated roadworks.

Services (except X13) will operate usual route as far as Wymondham (Avenue Road, The Chestnuts) and will then return to Tuttles Interchange at Police HQ to join the A11 towards Attleborough. All services will stay on the A11 as far as the Queens Road exit. Services will then operate via Cyprus Road, Chapel Road, Springfields, London Road, New Road, Hargham, Road, High Street and Exchange Street to Queens Square (the usual route in reverse). Journeys towards Norwich from this point wil operate their usual route.

Passengers travelling towards Attleborough wishing to alight on London Road / Norwich Road (B1172) will be allowed to stay on the bus and will have to travel via Attleborough and alight on the inbound journeys.

Service X13 will operate as usual via the A11 but exit at Queens Road and then follow the above amended route.

Unfortunately, due to this diversion we will be unable to pick up passengers wishing to travel towards Attleborough at Suton Lane, Eleven Mile Lane, Station Turn, Morley Turn, Chapel. Within Attleborough stops at Mill Lane, Brickfield Terrace and High School travelling towards the town centre will not be served.

We apologise to all customers affected by these diversions which we anticipate will be in force for approximately three days
