Remembrance Day Services and Remembrance Day Parades will take place, across Essex, on Sunday 10th November 2024.
We’re offering free travel for all veterans and UK Armed Forces personnel travelling to Remembrance Day activities on Armistice Day and Remembrance Sunday. Those with a Service ID card or wearing their military uniform will be eligible for a free return journey across all First Bus services.
Due to a lorry blocking the road, services are diverted.

Towards East Kilbride:
From Glen Road, Petersburn Road, Carlisle Road and South Biggar Road

Jackson Bridge, Sheffield Road, New Mill and Holmfirth Bus Station.
Colchester Remembrance Sunday Parade will take place on Sunday 10th November 2024.

High Street, Head Street and North Hill will be temporarily closed.
The following services will be paused or placed on diversion:
Ferryhill Road will be closed between Millburn Street and Caledonian Place. Services will divert as follows:
Service 17 heading to Newhills
From Ferryhill Road:
• left onto Caledonian Place
• right onto Albury Road
• right onto Willowbank Road
• left onto Crown Street
• resume normal route

Passengers are reminded that the annual remembrance parade will be taking place in Bath this weekend with the main activity around Milsom Street and Grand parade areas.
Services using these areas will divert away to use Great Pultney street/Sydney Place/Bathwick Street for service 3
