Bus operator First Solent are offering free travel on all of its services in Fareham, Gosport and Portsmouth, including our Solent Ranger services, X4/X5 serving Southampton, to serving Armed Forces personnel, cadets and veterans so they can attend commemorative events on Remembrance Sunday, 13th November. The company’s buses are already proudly displaying their poppies.

Due to ongoing driver shortages, which are making it difficult to operate all journeys in our current timetables, we have removed some journeys across several services. The cancelled journeys, which are listed below, will show as cancelled on the First Bus app, and on the real time information screens at bus stops

With venues across the city centre you can find a range of performances including musical theatre, music, dance, comedy, theatre and festivals with popular bars open for pre-show and interval refreshments.
On Monday 7th October Part of Botley road will be under traffic lights for road works near to Gainsborough Close. These road works are expected to last for two weeks and the bus stop at Gainsborough Close will be closed for the duration. Please use an alternative stop during this closure.
