Changes to your local services from 27 April 2025

We're making some changes to your local services, these updates will help things to run more smoothly and keep everything running on time. 

Here's a summary of the changes from Sunday 27th April 2025,

Service 16: City Centre - General Hospital

We have added in an additional stop and this service will now serve Haymarket Bus Station, stand HZ.  This will provide better connections to other services within the bus station.  There will be some minor changes to the timetable.

Stand CE on Charles Street will still be served.

Service 17: City Centre - Highfields 

To help this service run more smoothly, service 17 will go back to use stand DJ in Humberstone Gate as the main departure stop. The Haymarket Bus Station will no longer be served and all journeys will start and end in Humberstone Gate. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Service 74: City Centre - Anstey 

Following a review a new Monday to Friday timetable will be introduced.  There are no changes to the Saturday or Sunday timetable.

Service 22B: City Centre - Birstall

Our contract with Leicestershire County Council to operate service 22B on Saturdays will come to an end.  The last day of operation will be on Saturday 26 April.

Centrebus service 24 will be serving Birstall on Saturdays, please visit their website to view the timetable.
