Services 4A & 6 - Busby Road/Busby Bridge

Due to a blocked road, services are unable to serve University Avenue.

Services are diverted via the following:

Towards Broomhill: Woodlands Road, Park Road, Great Western Road, Byers Road, Highburgh Road back to normal route.

Towards Eaglesham/Newton Mearns: via Highburgh Road, left Byers Road, Queen Margaret Drive, Great Western Road, Park Road, Woodlands Road back to normal route

Due to a police road closure, Ferry Road is closed.

Services will be diverted as follows:

Service 77 towards Buchanan Bus Station: Diverted via High Street, Glasgow Road, Old Govan Road.

Service 77 towards Glasgow Airport: Diverted via Old Govan Road, Kings Inch Road, Old Govan Road, Glasgow Road, High Street, Hairst Street back to normal route.

UPDATE: Services have resumed to a normal route.

Service 6 shuttle bus will operate Saturday 22nd, Sunday 23rd, Monday 24th March between East Kilbride Bus Station and Calderwood and vice versa to maintain connections. This is due to the Network Rail works which will see the closure of Busby Road from 21:00 on Friday 21st March to 07:00 on Tuesday 25th March.

Service 6 will terminate as normal in Calderwood on Thursday 21st March and Tuesday 25th March, although delays are expected and passengers should plan ahead.

Due to Scottish Power Manhole repairs on Tuesday 25th March 09:00 until Saturday 29th March 17:00 Cambusland Road (W-bound) bus stop will not be in use.

Services 267 & 263 towards Buchanan Bus Station diverting via Dukes Road, Dukes Road and Stonelaw Road

Service 263 diverting via Farmloan Road and Cambuslang Road onto normal route.

Service 267 diverting left Rutherglen Main Street onto normal route.

Cambusland Road after Farm Cross.

To allow for works on Friday 21st March 20:00 until Saturday 22nd March 06:00 the M8 Junction 27 on slip westbound will be closed towards Glasgow Airport.

During the closure the following diversion will be in place:

Service 77 towards Glasgow Airport.

Normal route, Renfrew Road at M8 Junction 27 roundabout continue 1st exit on the roundabout Renfrew Road, ahead 2nd exit on the roundabout Renfrew Road, right Weir Street, (keep to the outside lane and follow the Airport signs) Old Sneddon Street (the lane splits into 2 at the lights stay in lane 3), (once through the junction keep left Glasgow Airport sign) left Love Street, Inchinnan Road, left 1st exit on the roundabout Sanderling Road, ahead 1st exit on the roundabout Sanderling Road, right 2nd exit on the roundabout Glasgow Airport access road normal route.

To allow for Bridge works on Thursday 20th March 17:00 until Friday 21st March 10:00  Busby Road at Clarkston Railway Station and Busby Road at Rail Bridge will be closed.

During the closure the following diversions will be in operation:

Service 4A towards Eaglesham.                                                                                

Normal route to Busby Road at Mearns Road, right Mearns Road, left Greenwood Road, right Eaglesham Road normal route.

Service 4A towards Clarkston.                                                                

Normal route Eaglesham Road at Greenwood Road left Greenwood Road, right Mearns Road 2nd exit at Clarkston Toll onto Clarkston Road normal route.

Service 6 towards Calderwood/East Kilbride.                                              

Normal route to Busby Road at Mearns Road, right Mearns Road, left Greenwood Road, right Eaglesham Road, 2nd exit at next roundabout Eaglesham Road, continue Glasgow Road, next Roundabout take 1st exit onto Glasgow Southern Orbital, continue Redwood Drive, 3rd exit at roundabout Queensway normal route.

Service 6 towards Clarkston.                                                                                               

Normal route Queensway, 1st exit at Philipshill Flyover slip road onto Redwood Drive, continue Glasgow Southern Orbital, 3rd exit at roundabout Glasgow Road, 1st exit at roundabout Eaglesham Road, left Greenwood Road, right Mearns Road 2nd exit at Clarkston Toll onto Clarkston Road normal route.

To allow for resurfacing works on Monday 10th March until Friday 21st March, Syriam Street will be closed between Campsie Street and Drumbottie Road.

During the closure the following diversions will be in operation:

Service M3 towards Milton.                                                               

Normal route Boghead Road at Balgraybank Street and continue Boghead Road, left Campsie Street, right Hillhouse Street, left Drumbottie Road, right Syriam Street normal route.

Service M3 towards Springburn.                                                          

Normal route Syriam Street at Drumbottie Road, left Drumbottie Road, right Hillhouse Street, left Campsie Street normal route.

Not operating under low bridge at Cook Street.

Services 60 60A 61 & M3 Phoenix Road To allow for works, on Saturday 22nd July until August 2025

Phoenix Road will fully close.

Service M3 towards Milton Will divert Garscube Road.
