Verifying your student email address is a simple process, you can follow the steps below:

1. If your ticket needs to be verified, you'll see a list of valid email address domains that can be used to buy the ticket.

2. If your student email address domain is included in the list, you can go ahead and purchase your ticket. 

3. Once purchased, you'll receive a link to the email address associated with your First Bus app account to start the verification process.

If using Tap On, Tap Off or Tap & Cap, you won't receive a receipt for your transaction. However, you can check our customer portal for details of your transaction. 

If purchasing a paper ticket from the driver, you will get a receipt once your transaction has gone through, along with a ticket for your journey. Please ask your driver for your receipt as well as your ticket if you’re unsure you have received one.
