There is a planned weekend road closure taking place, between the hours of 21:00 and 05:00, Friday 6th October to Monday 9th October 2023. 

The A12 will be subject to a road closure between Junction 25 (Marks Tey) and Junction 26 (Stanway).

There will likely be heavy congestion in and around the local area which will cause delays to the X20 services.

For the duration of the roadworks, early morning and late evening/night X20 journeys will come off the A12 at Junction 25 (Marks Tey) and continue route via London Road through Copford.

Also, to manage expected delays the X20 will not serve Colchester North Station, between the hours of 09:00 and 19:00, Saturday 7th and 8th October 2023. The X20 service will instead pick-up/drop-off at Colchester Bus Station. Local bus connections will allow through travel to/from Colchester North Station.
